I think the simplest solution for the SoU dilemma is to make the teams NSW/ACT/Vic/Tas origin, and Qld/WA/rest, in terms of an equitable split of players and geography.

I think a back 3 of Koroibete, Wright and Petaia has a pretty good balance long term, and if France send a second string side as is mooted it would be a good opportunity to develop it, with Hodge as the 23 for now and an eye on Vunivalu

I think that just means for this season, which was a given anyway. Prior to Penney's sacking he stated that he was going to use his gig with the much lauded Lebanon team at the Loig WC to see if he could coach league. Perhaps once that is over in November he will weigh up his options.
