You’re only as good as your worst player, it’s hard to look good in the current Tahs environment. I’d say any Tahs that were in the squad last year will get a berth to at least the first training squad to try and make their case, but can’t really see any others being called in.

I agree that missed tackle stats can at times be misleading e.g a gallant chase and a dive at the ankles on the line is the same statistically as the Catt one on Lomu, but in this instance we have 7 misses from 13 attempts and 0 from 9 from their opposites. Overall that’s the opposite of...

As a Tahs supporter, I don’t see any point in being conservative at this stage of proceedings.

I was thinking of him too, could be better to have him and Williams on the bench with Sinclair covering the row than Dud Whetton.

You’d think this will force Wykes to start in the row, Sinclair to 6 who has been ok and Harris coming in could actually be an upgrade.
