Maybe so, but it hasnt hurt a host of ABs that cut their teeth in 7s including Lomu, Rokocoko, Howlett etc.

7s caps would also make them ineligible for other countries.

    G Smith wins RUPA

We will look back on Smith as one of the great modern Wallabies. Impact on a game, durability, leadership, workrate, consistency. He is incredible. Had the Boks or ABs had Smith playing for them in the first two 3N tests against us this year the results would have been reversed.

That was a brilliant try. There have been others since Walker though. Giteau can do it, Cooper did it against Italy, Mitchell can do it and Larkham could ghost in a way that made defenders look very silly.

    Australia's 5th team

Good research Lindommer. Red is edits/additions. Green are those players capped elsewhere. Blue are those who will be too old/too broken by 2010/11. Administrators - can we put this up the top. It might be interesting to keep an eye on it. player club country Michael Aldridge Roma Ita...

As long as you are dishing out 6 points why is that silly?

    Brumbies 2009

Not wedded to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the wing and Smith at 12 but I think it gives the B's better balance. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Mortlock are too similar to have in the centres unless AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) surprises me with his skillset. I hope he does because we need more depth at 12. I disagree that AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Mortlock are our best centres...

You are thinking Hayman and Woodcock. What about Sheridan and Vickery (where its reversed) or Daly and McKenzie where they were both cubes or Blades and Harry?

    Western Force 2009

Right you are. I was getting sick of using the *. Its not an easy key to find. He may be a better THP than AJ Whalley, but he cant play hooker and THP at the same time. Do you think the front row would look stronger 3. McIsaac 2. Holmes 1. Hardy I thought about it, but Holmes doesnt seem to...

Is Kimlin a 6? I didnt think so. There is a little bit of competition there which is good. I can see your point with Mafi and after the BaaBaas game I like AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 12. I initially had him at 12 but T. Smith impressed last year more than Mafi and so gets the starting spot on the basis that you...

    Quade v Kurtley

Dead right TOCC. I hope that if one of the aptly named Barbarians did say something disparaging about, for example, free speech or racial equality, Cooper really gave it to him.

    Benji Marshall to cross codes?

Its a response to the argument about league players being hidden in defence. Campbell cant tackle the big fellas and they have tried to hide him everywhere. Both codes have and have had weak tacklers.

    Baa Baas V Wallabies

The skill McCaw and Smith have is in reading the game, knowing where to be, when to be there and what they should do when they get there. That isnt something you can develop in the gym and, if he doesnt make it, that will be why. He shows signs of having it and lets hope he does.
