Was it the jump or the landing that made him laugh? :p

The only part of DH-P's game I didn't like was the way he kept yabbering at the ref after Meakes' card. Meakes would have already been sitting down before he shut up. Move on. The best fullback in the country by so far it's not funny, (although that young Red's guy is showing plenty of promise).

Oh sweet baby jeebuz. Some of the old ladies that live in my street may have learned a few new words over the last hour or so.

I suspect that most people that use that term genuinely believe most people agree with them. Until something inconvenient, like a referendum, comes along.

A few years ago they started publishing a list of injured players, their injury, and when they are due back. Like the AFL clubs do every week. Really wish they would get back on it.

There may not be any other fit options. Seems most of the backs are busted.

Pretty much nailed it for the XV I reckon. I'm still not sure about Orr. He seems mobile and good around the ground but I think Sa'aga is the better scrumager. Wouldn't mind Eloff at 18 again. I'm loving some of the hits he's been putting on in defense.

I thought he was good in the trials so, in a way he did get a shot. The problem for him is that the Rebels are not short on decent backrowers. We still have Killingworth and Kemeny waiting for a chance and Wilkin has to be getting close to being available.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Interesting article in today's Age. Amazon Prime are sticking their toe in the water regarding AFL, paying $10m to have a bunch of documentaries produced. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/how-eddie-mcguire-and-amazon-could-shake-up-the-afl-on-tv-20200224-p543v4.html

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The draw is going to be a massive issue for any FTA broadcaster. They are going to want consistency of product and they're not going to get it. They'll want to schedule a rugby show from say 7:00-9:30pm every Friday and/or Saturday night. How can you build an audience if you don't have a game...

    Hometown Refs

I may have found where the discrepancy occurred. I think you have the penalties conceded around the wrong way in a number of games. I noticed it when Ulrich posted a snippet. E.g. The 11-2 penalty count in the Lions/Tahs game was in favour of the Lions, not the Tahs (big stink after that one)...

    Hometown Refs

Stuart Berry is a classic example of why neutral refs are needed. Any team that played the Lions with him reffing had bugger all chance of winning. Eventually he was sacked by SANZAAR but, for some bizarre reason, was picked up by the Pro 14. He must have done a decent enough job as he was...

Yep. Lions v Rebels, Round 5. Rebels were leading 33-5 at half time before Egon Seconds, in a huge second half effort, stamped his authority on the game blowing 20 penalties to 1. Lions ended up winning 36-33. Edit: Rebels also copped two YCs in the 2nd half ;)

    Where to for Super Rugby?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

That's an interesting take. The Sunwolves, and the Jags, were brought in to Super Rugby to appease the SARU's demands for a 6th team. And it could have worked really well, if one of each of those new teams went to the Aus and NZ conferences. Three, six team conferences would have been straightforward...
