I dips me lid to that highly appropriate pun ;)

    Brumbies 2020

Sure. It's not ideal but it's only one game. Surely it's not so bad that people cancel their membership over it?

    Brumbies 2020

GWS don't seem to have a problem getting big crowds to Manuka. Why wouldn't the Brumbies want to go there?

Rebels vs Lions, Round 6 2020, 07/03 AAMI Park 7:15pm

Wessells mentioned that Jones hurt his back on the flight home from Japan. You would have to think he is still injured. He'd be way more effective than RH-P. Also, Smith?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

This article re the AFL is a year old now: https://www.bandt.com.au/afl-rights-amazon-facebook-twitter-pinch-sevens-footy/ And this one from last week: https://www.bandt.com.au/the-afl-needs-some-competitive-tension-amazon-heats-up-broadcast-deal-talks/ It looks like Amazon are going to start...

    Rebels 2020

That's an awesome number but it was over 13,500 just before the season started so, not a lot have joined since. On the website they've started advertising the Flexi Memberships, from $49 for three games. Might give those numbers another bit of a boost.

    Wallabies 2020

Fair comments. On point 1. Yep, he shanked that kick and it lead directly to a try. On 2. That was a captaincy decision (a poor one, IMHO) and not an issue with him as a full back. He probably won't be Wallaby captain though so, not such a big deal for the Wobbs. He was probably Rebels MOTM...

    Global Rapid Rugby

The problem isn't just the JRFU. The company owned teams haven't supported the SWs. AFAIK, the only team to make players available this season is Panasonic. That's why they are running with such a cobbled together squad. It would be awesome for GRR to have them but, lotta hurdles to jump.

Any news about injured players that could be due back? Smith, Jones, Hodge, Magnay?

Rebels vs Lions, Round 6 2020, 07/03 AAMI Park 7:15pm

Rebels have now won one in a row = hot streak. The Lions are coming off a bad loss to the 'Tahs. They've lot a lot of players since the two sides last played in 2019, including their MOTM and HTR, Egon Seconds. The Rebels need to win this one and win it well.

    Highlanders v Rebels, RD 5 - 28th Feb

Well we won't have to wait long to find out. Our next four weeks are Lions (H), bye, Sunwolves (H), Stormers (A).

    Highlanders v Rebels, RD 5 - 28th Feb

I reckon the Sunwolves game was a bit like a golf tournament where there's an easy par 5. All the players in contention are making birdies or eagles and we've shanked our tee shot and carded a 9. The only way to make that one up is to pick up a win against someone like the Saders or Stormers...
