RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

Ford was their weakness which they have now removed, thats the best english team for ball in hand rugby. Signifies that Eddie isn't planning on that much kicking and England will be doing hard running at our defensive line all day. Lawes and Itoje are great around the park, however their set...

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

English papers saying that Vunipola highly likely to play and that Eddie will name an unchanged line up. So XV likely to be: Daly; Watson, Tuilagi, Farrell, May; Ford, B Youngs; Marler, George, Sinckler, Itoje, Kruis, Curry, Underhill, B Vunipola. So looks like they will keep Kruis to shore up...

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

Yes no one wants to be the next Joubert, especially how World Rugby through him under the bus afterwards.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

Just goes to show that you don't really know how the ref is going to be until the day. We had Poite against England in 2015 and he rewarded our dominance in the scrum then and reff'd well, bar the first scrum when he awarded a penalty to England (I even remember being concerned pre game about a...

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

Just to supplement this discussion, viewing figures from Japan showed 53.7% of population were watching the match at one stage, with an average viewing audience of 39.2%. In other words over 60 million people were watching it at its peak, surely even SANZAAR know thats a compelling case to get...

Whilst the refs are scary we could have had Jaco: However think we know how the refs will be as we have had all of them in pool games, and the breakdown will continue to be a mess. Whats the latest on Vunipola?

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

Japan is easy for Australia and New Zealand (close Time zones as well). Guess its more complicated for South Africa and Argentina to travel to but not the worst if games are played in a hub like Tokyo (think you can probably fly direct?)

RWC 2019 1/4 Final Japan vs South Africa

Scotland were very poor in that first half and Japan lost attacking momentum in the 2nd. Think the Boks will have too much and also Japan shouldn't suprise them like they did to Ireland. Have to use the set piece against Japan, their weakness is still the Line Out and Scrum. Boks by 20.

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Scotland

https://rawling.github.io/WR (World Rugby)-calc/ This is the best world rankings calculator, they also update it live during matches. If Japan beat RSA they will jump above RSA and Australia (if Australia lose to England). Would think the money and performance from this RWC will surely make SANZAAR have a...

Next week we playing at Oita which has a retractable roof, so unless some intervenes there will be no rain

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

In all the glum outlook, we won with a BP and didn't play well. We made only 46 tackles and had only one injury to a player we have cover for (potentially not in the starting 15/23). The game was won early enough so we could make changes to give players sufficient rest. We also know that the...

Yes I'm sure they weren't purposefully backing off, but you see it in all sports when matches are dead rubbers players can subliminally not go that extra yard/give that extra effort.

Everyone better be barracking for Uruguay tomorrow, would love a Welsh choke.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

England were not pretty against Tonga and struggled against a 14 man Argentina until the second half so I don't think they'll be tooting their own horns quite yet. They haven't played a full 80 against Teir 1 opposition yet this tournament so if Wallabies can work out how to play like they did...

Yeah well done Rob Simmons, and well done for the BP. Not a vintage performance, but external events and weather have not helped the situation. Dropping Hooper and Coleman showed that we weren't focussing on this game starting with the coaches.

Tupou has to be on the bench for the QF.

Looks like they just subbed in the whole bench.

Think it'd be hard to go 100% when you know the result has no bearing. Can imagine that they are already thinking about next match against England.
