    RWC Week 4 matches

Law 8.3: A penalty try is awarded between the goal posts if foul play by the opposing team prevents a probable try from being scored, or scored in a more advantageous position. A player guilty of this must be cautioned and temporarily suspended or sent off. No conversion is attempted. The rule...

Where is the sanction against Biggar? He's not the captain and spitting the dummy at the ref.

    RWC Week 4 matches

Well well well, finally the ref has set a precedent and followed it. Deserved YC for cynical play.

Carn Fiji, Wales look the same as in the Wallabies match at the same stage.

    RWC Week 4 matches

I often worry that it was my supporting of Wallabies that made me infuriated by the reffing. However now watching many games as a neutral I feel like that is the case in nearly 50% of the games. Can't understand how they don't identify people like Barnes and Owens as the best refs and ensure...

FFS, that was 4 penlaties and he gives a card. Wales gave away about 6 on the try line before Hooper's try and there wasn't even a warning. Its either the NH sides know the rules better/know how to skirt the rules or there is an obvious bias towards them.

The rule book is 100+ pages, surely world rugby realise they need to simplify it as every game its obvious that the Refs aren't able to enforce all of them and become selective.

Is it Skeen again? How can someone that got stood down in Super Rugby be involved in so many high profile games?

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

I think the problem is that those two games are in Yokohama (which is in path of the typhoon atm) which is a 70 000 seat stadium so I don't think they have another stadium that can fit everyone. Don't think its minnows vs tier one, just that Yokohama is where the typhoon will hit and therefore...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies v Georgia, Friday 11th October, 9.15pm ADST

After a good night of reflection I think this team could be pretty close to the one that faces England, its nearly full strength if you put in AAA and Hooper. If Jordy can play close to a full 80 I think I would prefer him to Hodge for the QF, with Hodge potentially not making the 23. Sounds...

    Refereeing decisions

Did anyone see the call for crooked put in that lead to Japan's BP try? That was the most classic example of refs being inconsistent and just calling something they haven't called all game (likely getting caught up in the amazing atmosphere with a packed house of cherry blossom shirts). The more...

Should have been a penalty against Farrell for leading with a forearm. ;) Unsure why Farrell didn't get HIA, he didn't get one against US either from memory. Maybe he had scans in the past that show a thick skull with a small brain so the England Docs aren't overly concerned.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

Also wouldn't have been down to Fiji at half time either but maybe Cheika is thinking 3rd time lucky?

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

Its a team set up to me where we should be looking to dominate the set piece and also our back line is fairly potent as well. Need to learn from Fiji's mistakes in trying to force a try every play and just play our own game then tries will come. Expecting FF (Folau Fainga'a) hattrick and Wallabies by 50+.

I agree if Kerevi is starting to get pinged then we should apply all the rules and Wales should be pinged everytime they hold up the tackler then collapse the resulting maul. If you are collapsing a maul from a lineout its a penalty but if you collapse it from a held up ball carrier then its...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

RA have two options, to get rid of Giteau rule or do what they did with Nic White and sign players to RA contracts just prior to RWC. I can't see any less players leaving over the next 4 years and fear that South African and Australian domestic rugby comps will become similar to football in...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

How long do you think before Australia ditches the Giteau rule and goes down the same path as South Africa? I'm betting that it will happen before the next WC.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Last thing on the Kerevi incident, this was play on and no one said anything: So explain to me how a tucked forearm to the chest is getting pulled up this week? Bloody hard to keep loving rugby let alone play it when the refs/TMOs just make it up as they go along.

I really hope the French can do them in the pool so they move to other side of draw. Farrell will be kicking field goals until the cows come home against us.
