Remember the bloke on the Hey Hey it's Saturday revival, that was a fucking mess.

The success of League players in Rugby Union

Farking hell, what were you doing 3 years ago? To ply your professional 3 years in a different nation is a massive commitment, let the man play. You could have a bachelors degree and a masters in the time (if you did 6 subjects a year, it's doable).

    Waratahs 2015

Qld school finishes a year early, just because they're 17 does not mean they were still in school.

Sidenote, I wonder if we can get Eddie Maka to come home. My my, he's big and Toulouse have probably already sheared most of the puppy fat off.

    Waratahs 2015

I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case. He was in the 7s program and they don't take school students.

100%. However, I said the same thing about Radike Samo when he was halfway into that amazing season with the Reds. He then surprised us at around 36 by, after only getting 4 Wallaby games in his youth as a 2nd rower, playing a world cup as Australia's starting 8. The moral is, who knows...

I agree with this, but I think the issue is people know that this will see the Pacific Islands quickly pull ahead of countries like Scotland. It would drastically mess up the status quo, probably in ways we can't even predict. People don't want that level of change.

I disagree about D2, it swallows up players. Italy does only have 2 teams worth playing for, there's no reason he couldn't play for either of them.

Let's remember Nedolo wasn't up to Super Rugby standard either. Gus is not lifetime write off (and I'm not saying that's what you're getting at, but people do). I think Gus is a bloke that needs to just play a lot of professional rugby and he's not currently a Super Rugby 22 standard player...

Probably for the best for him, he doesn't look to be in the plans here.

All Blacks vs Poms - 3rd test

Yeah, I'd say Brown was the best FB in the world. Probably the world's best under the high ball under pressure and always wins metres post contact (which is so important at test level where the chase line comes thick and fast and there's often no space out back for good kick options). Great...

    Reds 2015

Exactly. We don't need TOO MANY top ups because players know that if they perform internationally for us for a season or two there's big pay cheques waiting overseas for the rest of their days. What constitutes too many tops ups though? That's a point of discussion.

All Blacks vs Poms - 3rd test

I think it's a stretch to say Smith is the world's best FB (or even a candidate) seeing as most of his ABs caps recently have been on the wing, with an equal smattering of games at 13 and 15. His best possy is probably 15 but he just hasn't played there internationally that often. Is he the...

Kane Douglas is about as Aussie as it gets. He's more Aussie than Aussie, he's country Aussie. His brother was a starter for surprise WC performer, Scotland.

The question is, will you blokes complain about this (or for as long) as you complained about the Force?

    Rebels 2015

From this week's Dewar Shield Preview: Apparently the bloke's an absolute athlete that was mostly hindered by injury. At 24, and with 6 Super rugby games, he's worth an EPS spot. Probably no more though thanks to our recent spate of signings. Still, wonder what he's doing down here. And...

If I was him I'd rather go to France but publicly announce my Scottish eligibility. He doesn't have to play in Scotland.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

So for clarity, NZ Juniors both beat the ABs and lost at home in the same year? Talk about an inconsistent season.

All Blacks vs Poms - 3rd test

Farking hell, what did Ben Morgan do? Solicit the coaches daughter? I mean the man's form has been up and down over the last 12 months but he's played SO well against the ABs. Sure, Vunipola is an excellent 8 but when somebody plays like Morgan you don't drop him because it sends the message...

I agree. Does this all mean Harris COULD play 10? 9. Burgeo 10. Harris 12. Inman 13. English 11. Shipperley 14. Kingston 15. Crawford With Placid getting buckets of experience off the bench. Also, if Sau goes, we should look at the excellent (but small) 13/wing Kotaro Matsushima (who's been...
