Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Swinton is a genuine target and Valetini has been used as a jumper. So thats 2 genuine and 2 backup. Not that bad.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Swintons our man at 6, gets dirty, gets dominant but also is the best backrower in the lineout. With an Arnold/Skelton lock pairing then definitely Swinton at 6.

    Wallabies 2021

Slipper started as a THP and Holmes as a LHP at the Reds.

    Wallabies 2021

Think Sio is alreayd included in most 'fantasy' squad rows LHP: Slipper, Bell, Sio THP: Tupou, Ala'alatoa, Faamausili Utility: Robertson 6 MIGHT get selected to one of the above misses out. Alot will depend on Ala'alatoa rejoining squad (I imagine he will) and Pones ongoing recovery to full...

    Wallabies 2021

5 props standard (2 each side plus a utility) They will probably tour with 6, though I think it'll be Robertson as the 6th as thp/utility as Pone is the ideal pre season get some training kind of guy. THOUGH I would much rather Pone and leave Robertson behind.

    Wallabies 2021

It seems that the 'take guys on tour for experience' line is not being used this time. Noah has been in the wallaby squad non stop for several months and started 3 tests. He doesnt need another trip to get more training experience this year. It seems they are looking to leave the majority of...

    Wallabies 2021

Definitely seen Daugunu in training photos. Also the way the wings play are different. I don't think Daugunu and Koroibete play the same as Wright and Kellaway, so not as simple as swap one for the other. Vunivalu could still be a chance, or recalling Naiyaravoro so was killing it before he...

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) probably deemed not up to it...plus in NSW, whereas Holmes joined them in WA. Pone injured and Ala'alatoa not available. Noone else worth 'blooding', which btw, Rennie doesn't like to do willy nilly.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Don't think it's too wild. If you had to pick Robertsons 'rank' it would be: 4th behind Slipper, Bell and Sio at LHP 4th behind Tupou, Ala'alatoa and Faamausili at THP - anddd maybe even Holmes.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Ok, No Montoya and only 6 makes it fine game wise. The squad was initially 47, but some injuries and some returned to europe since. Still a massive squad and would have covered the loss of 8 players regardless, even if those players were in the prefered 23. All is well. Carry on.

    Wallabies 2021

Yep you're right, I've edited. Completely forgot about Petaia. Not hugely convinved on Wright, but Vunivalu has been plagued by injury so yes, doesn't get there IMO.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

They ARE in a training bubble. BUT those reports only came out yesterday as well due to the 'outbreak' in Brisbane. So they might have already been in Byron when it came out...

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

I think Mcmahon will take the place of Mcreight as backup 7 for the tour.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Argentina mistake is bad neough regarding lack of knowledge/give a fuck - about the border BUT pretty sure they were in a training bubble

    Wallabies 2021

Todays article suggest it will be 32 + 4 based in europe, whereas originally thought to be 36 + those based in europe Notes - Not sure about the Baby daddy returnees positions (LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) & Ala'alatoa). If they are available to do what Koroibete is doing. - Speculated that Rennie to use Wallabies in...

    Wallabies 2021

I think thats right. To'omua got released because of concussion and probably wouldn't be recalled unless Quades club doesnt let him go. Then just wondering if Ala'alatoa is doing a Koriobete, and intending to rejoin the squad after family time in late october for the tour.

    Wallabies 2021

I agree I just feel people are pushing the narrative that he is being left at home just so he can do a pre season, whereas the reality is he is being left at home because he's not doing well enough to warrant selection in the touring squad, and because of that, he gets to do a full pre season.

    Wallabies 2021

Yes Wilson is getting left behind for a proper preseason, but it's not like someone else is making the squad OVER him. They are taking 36 and he won't make the cut in a reduced backrow contingent THEREFORE he will get a full preseason, not the other way around.

    Reds 2022

Grealy is still super developing. Leave him be.

    Wallabies 2021

They are going to Japan first. Maybe they'll leave him in Japan Maybe he will skip Japan and meet the team in europe after a longer break. Maybe he's just done. Guess we will find out!
