    Wallabies 2021

They'll have to bring someone else as 10 cover into the squad, like Harris or DP. but yes I like your team. I like Leota but I feel (and have written about it previously) that Swintons lineout work will be necessary with Skelton there and Samu the backrow cover.

    Wallabies 2021

So if Quade goes - we need 10 cover int he squad. It's 3 matches, must bring people in. Beale already coming in but that's for 15 and 3rd choice 10, now we need a 2nd choice 10 I think Duncan (Toulon) is obvious because he has practiced the systems but on short notice, I would prefer experience...

    Wallabies 2021

They don't need to even think of a Kerevi replacement as they already have Paisami, Foketi and to a lesser extend, JOC (James O'Connor) and Perese for 12. How about backrow? yes they have 5, but surely they at least have someone on speeddial. Who would be on your speed dial? Dempsey? Beale seems the likely...

    Wallabies 2021

Yes but when it's standard practice, you KNOW your players will leave to play national teams before you hire them. In this scenario, they hire NZ and AUS players with an expectation that they are be available for their club and never country. This change means a that player could be of a lower...

    Wallabies 2021

Kerevi, Quade, mcmahon and every other player on dollars far outstripping anythign conceivable in Australia will not jeapordise their future contracts with their employers. They will now and in the future pick the path that is supported by those who pay their wages. If they play hardball say "no...

    Wallabies 2021

He was injured and missed their Final (which they lost) An injury now/durign tour would impact his Japanese campaign. An injury during Australian based autumn tests and even rugby champs would likely be less damaging to his domestic season.

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Seems light because a lot of guys getting Super Rugby for the 1st time, however I think there would be PLENTY of NPC playerswho would translate to becoming Super Rugby players FAR better then many of the club players and u20s being lifted into Aussie Super Rugby teams. Remember they are trying to crack into NEWZEALAND...

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Locks Mike McKee (cook islands/southland stages) Don Lolo (Tonga/north otago) Veikoso Poloniati.(Tonga/Manawatu) Backrow Henry Stowers (Samoa/brumbies) Jack Lam (Samoa) Alamanda Motuga (Samoa/Counties)

    Brumbies 2022

They've only announced like...8 players and already 3 or 4 of them are not eligible.

    Brumbies 2022

Hope he goes to Pasifika. Perfect. Not capped yet but Tongan eligible. Exactly what they're meant to be shopping for.

    Wallabies v Japan, Oita - 23 October, 3:45pm AEDT

I don't think I'm being harsh at all. Even your defence refers to the future. I'm just referring to the present. He is NOW not good enough. I have every hope in the world that he WILL BE in the future.

    Wallabies v Japan, Oita - 23 October, 3:45pm AEDT

I think it will be easy to be better then Lonergan - of all the hookers I think he brings the least. Uelese is a in tight, scrummaging beast but a bit lazy? Kaituu is a beast but still a bit shaky on the set piece, Lonergan is shit at set piece and meant to be mobile but still not strong or...

    Wallabies 2021

Well Wright has been picked because of the expected speed of the game. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Wright dropped and Petaia on the wing again. This would be a chance for Perese to be on the bench as he has centre and wing experience but would have to keep Wright and Daugunu off the bench.

I guess Latu will be 7

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

Do we think there are going to be many players selected who are elgiible for Tonga/Samoa but havn't already been capped? Quite a few guys got caps in the Winter. I know there havn't been many but everyone so far is either already captured or ineligible.

    Wallabies v Japan, Oita - 23 October, 3:45pm AEDT

Perese by his own admission may not be in a position phyiscally to plan in Japan.

    Wallabies 2021

Mainly would call Sio now (even though Rennie said he won't), because we are super skinny on props in europe. Maybe sam talakai can join on from japan.
  18. upthereds#!

    Wallabies 2021

Sio has only been outside the squad for a week, he could fly straight to europe. 5 props for 4 games is a risk. I think Morohan would be a good replacement for Wright or Kellaway, but need fiji power for fiji power. It's not just about wings, it's about skill sets and strengths.

    Wallabies 2021

I do hope now we see a Naivalu or Naiyaravoro join the squad over there. Prop wise they are down to 5, perhaps they will call in Sio and Robertson can focus on being the 3rd string THP.

    Wallabies 2021

I would normally find that funny, but we already know Kerevi isn't playing, so I've gone to my dark place of assuming you haven't read many headlines at all and should read more. It's been one of those days.
