Don't even fucking joke about that shit. What if the unpaid intern fucks up the spreadsheet and it comes out Cheika 1, Foley 11,241?!?

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Last I read, they were both expected to play.

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

Great post and I agree. He's still a good defender but not that super reliable guy he was a few years ago -- you're certainly right about his certainty at the hit. I'd have him off the bench too.

    Digby WTF?

Does that mean God is Robbie Deans? Anyone know what game they play in hell?

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

On your first point, the problem is that we now have two starting backs (Lilo and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)) coming off injuries. You'd have to think both, and particularly AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), are a higher than normal chance at hurting themselves again. On the second, I absolutely agree. Picking both is picking the same guy twice.

    Digby WTF?

The second sentence was perhaps unnecessary, but Clyde's point is well made. Digby's tweet is arrogant, considering the bad press he just gave his team. Just because he wants to spout religious clichés in response doesn't make what he says above reproach.

That is disappointing. But good on him for grabbing some euros. That makes signing a quality backup hooker essential. Luke Holmes is not up to it and there is no chance whatsoever that Taf plays a full season.

Rebels v Lions - Tuesday 25 June, AAMI Park

The British commentators sure don't like Pollock. But they sure do like Croft.

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

Barnes is good at a few things. Taking high balls, defense, closing out games. But he needs firm instruction to stay away from his instinct to kick. When he does attack the line, it's often productive, but he takes that option far too infrequently. He's been incredibly frustrating to watch as a...

RH, it's not like you to take talk from the Wallabies on faith like that. Are you okay?

    Digby WTF?

Imagine what he'd learn if he asked for a whole buck or two of knowledge. They could cover stuff like "what is a court," "how does a calendar work" and "important things to tell the organization paying me hundreds of thousands of dollars to play with a ball".

    Ha. Meant to be Folau.

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

I resent that. It wasn't passive aggressive. It was just a pointless potshot. But since you asked: 1. slipper -- No, Robinson. 2. moore -- Yep. 3. kepu -- Alexander did fine, otherwise Slipper. 4. kimlin -- Not starting. Douglas was solid. 5. horwill -- Yep. 6. mcmenimum -- Not starting. 7...

North already had that wagging finger dealt with. It was one of the digits stuck between the ball and Izzy's hand when he got held up on his next dive at the line.

RH, I do think it's fair to say that O'Connor did not have an optimal situation to settle into the match after Lilo went down. McCabe is such an utterly different player, it must have made things (even more) difficult than they would otherwise have been. If a distributing 12 was so essential...

    Lucky you're not a selector.

Horwill very fucking lucky. Looked ugly to me, but geez it would have been a big blow to lose him.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

With his non-selection for the Wallabies? If so, Ioane, Kimlin and Barnes wouldn't be there either. But if you're talking Tahs, then I think so, yes. Cheiks was always willing to sacrifice a bit this season to build the future.

I would have said so, too. Then I remembered this. And that's not going to help is case much, I'd imagine.
