Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Agree with this Joe with a proviso that, if there are changes to coaches it is done seamlessly so that OS players don't turn up and all the systems they are used to have disappeared. ie Pissing on a fench.

I think the time to rate Schmidt is the end of next year. This is just another short term horror story we have to go through.

Maybe he wants to recreate Ireland and build on what he has. I agree though it is very odd to ignore them. Marky is another unless he's been released to go to NRL.

Strewth, Well it seems to be beyond our current playing group. Last week they were all bunched up at times with zero organisation that I could see.

Bloody hard to build a team on that though BH.

It's a Gordian knot isn't it? If we pick them it is hard to integrate them into the current systems if we don't we have a weaker team. Maybe Schmidt will find a way around it but it's not too obvious atm.

thanks, forgot about that even though I played there for a couple of seasons.

marked at 7 in the Springbok team.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

This is based on nothing but I suspect that Laurie Fisher is not helping the cause. This is based on the fact that Schmidt doesn't know these players at an international level and may be forced to take advice from Fisher and cover the same ground as Rennie. As much as he is lauded as a fine...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

This is the result of RA not facing the reality that we have a smaller group to pick from and even they are being bought by a large group of clubs that offer more than we do. Ditch the Gitau Law now! We are in the era of soccer like....

I couldn't care less about what you do or don't do, what has me worried is PSDT v Tizzano

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I agree, the row is important if we want a stronger scrum and getting over the Ad line. As I said earlier as Skelton is not available then Swain could bring some stiffening to the forwards. I was a bit surprised that Schmidt didn't bring him in. We seem to have the idea that any aggression is...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I would rather select a team that might make a better fist of the poor forward's performance last week. Of course not that is just silly. I am talking about trying to perform better than last week. If you think Tizzano is the best option against an excellent backrow, then we will see if you...

Agree, I am hoping he gets a bench spot.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

So you would rather hand Tizzano a hiding when he could make an impact from the bench. It's a laugh Tizzano will probably be against Kolisi, PSDT (best forward in the world) and Louw at the breakdown. Yes, I want Uru to start...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I want to see us play fast and hard rugby, if there is too much thinking during the game we come unstuck. At times last week, we looked like Browns cows. I don't think Schmidt will pick Uru, but it might make a difference if he did it.

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Wilson like many of our forwards go better when we play at speed. If the game is a slog, as it might be in Perth due to weather, then he will struggle. In an open fast game, he is OK. Not a world beater but good enough.

True but not by this Saturday.

Thanks. Very interesting and I will watch out for this with Wilson on Saturday.

I assume you are joking? I watch as much rugby as you do and I have my own opinions on players. It is only the new caps that are unknown at international level. Please use some common sense as opposed to Ad Hom crap.
