    Wallabies 2024

Dru, I suspect Schmidt will be aware of the teams strengths and weaknesses by now and will want to put some pressure on the team/squad. I am expecting an incremental improvement in skill and tactics without a huge shock on the scoreboard either ++ or --

    Waratahs 2025

25 will be very interesting. I am looking forward to it - -- - - -Same as every bloody year before the boots hit the fields...

Fully agree re the kicking competition. We are not great at it. We must compete in the forwards, particularly at the breakdown or else the kicking will be academic. What do you reckon the score will be or do you wait until the team announcement? I think 15-30 to them.

    Waratahs 2025

I agree but they were out-muscled as well as psyched out of it. I thought they were a great gold or silver prospect. I hope he can do great things for the Tahs as they missed a few games last year they should have won.

    Waratahs 2025

Should be a decent season from Tahs at last. I thought the women's 7's were short in physical performance as the USA semi showed very painfully.

Disagree with this bit, if we don't turn up to compete in all areas of forward play then expect a 20-30 point margin against us. As a rule you should always attack your oppositions strengths and take advantage of their weaknesses.

It was a shock to see him run down so easily, odd for an ex 7's player where speed is nearly everything. I'm hoping Koro and Toole are the wingers this Saturday.

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Yeah watched Joey Walton playing for Gordon v Norths on Saturday.

    Super Rugby General Chat

If Australian rugby doesn't lift in Super Rugby with the addition of players from Rebels then it has to be the quality of the coaches we have.

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Thanks HL - still 17 with no homes. It's surprising as I thought many would go O/S.

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Altered, thanks Ghost. The above list is the new normal. I will delete the old one at some stage.

This is the current situation. Let me know if any errors....

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Just read Divad Palu has signed with the Force. They are saying he's a great talent but I don't remember him at all but he is 20 and might not have played much apart from U20's.

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Rob Leota just confirmed for Tahs. McKellar picking up some real talent also talk of Mike Catt, Ireland's assistant coach joining Dan.

It is a shock when you see these guys, I remember years ago attending a refs meeting and the Tahs forwards squad were there. I'm 6' 4" but felt small compared to (even) the back row.

I hope you are the only one talking like this. We have history with guaranteed wins.

    Wallabies 2024

Thanks Didn't realise that was his nickname. I liked him but would not have put in a better basket than Barnes or Cooper come to that. There is a player who played 5/8 for Tonga called Lilo I assumed it was him.

    Wallabies 2024

I'd not heard the name so looked him up he played for Tonga is that correct?

    Wallabies 2024

He'll play if he is good enough in training for the game, I suspect he will start in the Perth game but who knows? Best LHP in Australia when fit. Any chance of steel-capped boots? I suspect the opposition will be stepping on his toes.

Yes and still a good 10 in his last few games with the Tahs but went to Japan for several reasons inc money.
