Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

In terms of debuts I'm backing 4 players to either start or be on the bench against the Boks: 2/16. Faesslar 4/19. Arnold 20. T Hooper 22. Gordon Arnold and Gordon IMO are certainties as long as they are fit. Faesslar I'd prefer over Uelese due to his accuracy at the lineout and his general...

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Does Proctor play 12? Daugunu's form at 13 for the Reds at the end of the season was phenomenal and I'm really keen to see if he can continue in that position next year. A backline of Lourwens at 9, C Gordon at 10, Lancaster and Anderson at 11 and 14, Proctor and Daugunu at 12 and 13 with...

    Wallabies 2023

I know he has detractors on here, but I see Foley as the man who will be wearing the 22 jersey. Obviously he covers 10 but he can play at 12 in a pinch (definitely not ideal). I just think with Cooper's injury history we will have to carry a 10 on the bench and with the current form and...

Super Rugby 2023 SF: Chiefs v Brumbies

Having Hooper at 6 just makes that forward back so much more intimidating. Very keen for this one.

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

Who's the backup 10 for the Brumbies? Wright? Also I'm excited to see Hooper at 6 with Valetini at 8. That's the future 6/8 combo for the Brumbies (any maybe the Wallabies).

    Queensland Reds 2024

After watching his performance for World XV I think the first job of the next HC should be to try and move heaven and earth to bring Hockings back. Bloke is in unbelievable form and is still only 24.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

How did Max Craig go? I've been really rating him for Easts this year, he fits the 4th flanker mould of the modern hooker perfectly, without sacrificing his set piece.

    Wallabies 2023

The more I think about the more I think it's likely we'll see LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) at the world cup. He's purpose built to fill the 19 role on the bench considering he can cover 6 as well at a pinch. He made the Prem team of the year in his first season up north, he's got plenty of experience in the Wallabies...

    Wallabies 2023

I'm running off the assumption that the Giteau law will be relaxed but with the form he's in I can't see how Foley isn't on the plane to France. I've been the first to call him shit in the last few years but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Considering the fact that the only Wallabies flyhalves we...

    Wallabies 2023

Kerevi has been named on the bench for Suntory against Kubota on Sunday. Looking more and more likely we'll have him fit and ready for the Rugby Championship.

    Reds v Waratahs in Townsville

This is the side I'd be picking. I'm loving the dog that Vest is bringing and I prefer Uru to play off the bench in the backrow. Backline pretty much picks itself and you're right about 23 just being a toss up between whoever is fit. Daugunu would be my pick though.

    Wallabies 2023

    11. Korobeite, 14. Nawqanitawase, 15. Kellaway, 23. Petaia

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

He played Hooker a fair bit for Easts in the Hospital Cup and filled in there for a match earlier this year so it's not new for him. Great versatility to have in the squad.

    Wallabies 2023

I agree with most of what you said except for this point. I think Foketi proved last year that he's our second best 12 behind Kerevi (and I say this as a Reds fan with a huge hard on for Paisami). He was excellent all year, really stepped up in the internationals and looks to have carried that...

    Waratahs 2023

It's not the same situation but Petaia was essentially taken as a development player in 2019 and debuted during the World Cup. Definitely not saying that I think the Wallabies should do it for Sua'ali'i, but there is some precedent for it.

    Crusaders v Brumbies

Oddly enough I don't think it's a bad side. The only question marks I have are Wright at 4 and Cale at 8, but so far Bernie hasn't really put a foot wrong with his selections. Will be a great test for guys like Wright, Cale, Kautai and O'Donnell. Plus the bench is strong with L Lonergan...

    Rebels 2023

I know it's only early in the 2023 season, but the forward pack that the Rebels will be able to put out next year assuming everyone is fit is terrifying: 1. Gibbon 2. Mafi 3. Tupou 4. Philip 5. Hosea 6. Leota 7. Wilkin 8. Hardwick 16. Uelese/Rangi 17. Orr/Eloff 18. Fa'amausili/Talakai 19...

    Wallabies 2023

Does anyone know the injury timeframes for Kerevi and Cooper? Will we see them in the Rugby Championship at all?

    Reds 2023

This is the team I'd be playing for round 2 if we have Wright, Jones and O'Connor available: 1. Sef Fa'agase 2. Richie Asiata 3. Zane Nonggorr 4. Ryan Smith 5. Luke Jones 6. Liam Wright 7. Fraser McReight 8. Harry Wilson 9. Tate McDermott 10. Tom Lynagh 11. Filipo Daugunu 12. Isaac Henry 13...

    Super Rugby 2023 Rd 1 - Reds v Hurricanes

https://draftrugby.com/blog/2023/02/03/casualty-ward-super-rugby-pacific-pre-season-2023/ Draft Rugby casualty ward is usually a good source of current injuries. Hasn't been updated for round 1 yet though.
