That is completely unacceptable Joker. It was bad enough that some idiot chose to rev his motorcycle when Joeys were taking key kicks. Old boy behaviour at it's worst. Congratulations to Joey for yesterdays win. Not much between the teams, in my view Joeys won by playing smarter rugby. The...

I think moving from a 10 game home and away to a 5 game comp has had a big impact. Last year and this year with the shorter competition are lower. 2016 was actually up on 2014 for posts and close to the same on views. The pre season trials against CAS and ISA schools don't generate the same...

Why the cheap shot at The Scots Sevens event Joker? Sevens has really taken off the last few years and a number of GPS boys have used this as a pathway to higher rugby. For a propaganda/scouting event the promotion has been very low key. The event is shown online for the overseas and interstate...

Congratulations to Shore but the 15's are not the age group to look at when playing Scots. Half the year are away at Glengarry. The wins in 16's and 13's are far more significant as a marker to the future. But overall things appear to be on the improve.

Shore were well beaten yesterday but they were far from overwhelmed. The biggest issue they have is the size of their pack. The forwards were tenacious but their attempts at pick and drive went nowhere against the Scots pack. The team will need to lift to beat View but it is well within their...

Full strength starting line up except for Savala at 10 and Gavin at 4. Mason had his best game standing in at fly half. Harris and Williams rested early second half. Been a lot of hard rugby for those forwards who have been at the State Champs. 2 big games to come against Joeys and Kings.

Full time Scots 45 Shore 12 Scrappy last 20 minutes Lots of unnecessary niggle. One Shore player yellow carded. Scots rested most of their pack for the second half.

In the dying seconds at 41.05 how can that have possibly been a penalty to Newington. The Newington player lying on the ground held the ball for a long time with no support nearby. The Joeys boy goes to steal it, he still hangs on and the penalty goes the other way. Lucky that it didn't change...

Great footage Joker. Wonderful to see so much passion from the boys on the touchline. Fences can be fixed. I don't think the Scots team or coach would be complacent for one second. I'm just a middle aged 'rugby tragic' Scots parent savouring a period of high quality Scots football. Joeys most...

11 of Scots first XV were playing at the State championship. 7 of the forwards and 4 of the backs. 8 made NSW teams and 3 Combined States

Agree with regard to Kings Rich, but we play Joeys at home. We have won 12 GPS games in a row against them. They haven't beaten us since 2009 and this years team is one of the best in recent memory. I have a little more confidence than yourself. Kings will be tough. We beat them at Bellevue Hill...

With Joeys scraping home against New it's very much as predicted. Only 3 schools still in the hunt. Kings and Scots looking the ones to beat with their meeting scheduled for the final round. Riverview versus Newington next week should be an interesting match up. Based on last Saturday and with...

I think prop Wingrove had a great game as well Rich. Some sensational runs in the first half. The unsung heroes of the front row continue to perform each week. Strong in the set piece and consistently more mobile than their counterparts.

Very hard to argue with any of those predictions Quickhands. I even agree on the margins. We'll be wrong though.....always an upset somewhere along the track!

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2018

There may well be an element of size syndrome in selection, but to be fair to the selectors last year New Zealand had a monster backline that brushed through tackles with ease. We can expect more of the same. We will need a robust set of backs who are solid in defence.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2018

I think this is the first year the selectors haven't received a deluge of criticism for their selections. A few disappointments and some disagreement but that is inevitable with those on the cusp where selection could have gone either way. Smart too announcing a squad and giving themselves time...
