How does a guy playing 12 make so few tackles?

Not in a Bled match with no game time for weeks

Did we, OK ............................... Looks to me that Foley starts, Coopers playing is not at the standard it needs to be at the moment. If he was kicking goals from everywhere, there would be more of a case for him, but he isn't, so he doesn't.

The only think we really learnt about Cooper on the weekend, is that he isn't a 12. Better to learn now I guess. To me that says he starts only, there are more flexible bench options

As I said with the last reactor to niggle, both should get equal time off.

If we lose both we will make do, as we would at Hooker, Lock, THP etc etc The point is we are losing the two current starters @ 10 and we still have good options. You can't plan for a plane crash

Actually I reckon we have more depth than ever

    Scrum Talk

Yeah nah, Robinson's scrummaging has been a good as any, (just not as good as it was when there was the hit) but his work rate hasn't been enough around his scrummaging work Alexander probably should have stayed at LH, he had the ability to hold his own there and had an immense work rate...

Yep, but he was being very complimentary to both scrums, Kepu was under pressure, but kept square, straight and we got decent ball

I reckon 99% of all media estimates are just pure speculation, most commercial compensation stuff I see has serious confidentiality clauses laid over it, so who actually tells them numbers? The reality is that Douglas didn't have a great NH season (the 12 month rugby disease IMHO) and I have...

Yes & No, the Tahs struggled without that second playmaker. Foley takes on the line a lot more than most 10s, with that second playmaker his work is leveraged more successfully

McCalman is a different ball runner, less width, more direct, as is Pocock I expect a more direct approach

    Reds 2016

    > Morgan would be a very smart attack coach > So Toulon's owner is threatening to sue a third party for damages (what damages? what actual loss can be claimed?, a few jersey's printed with Coopers name on the back?) over an employment contract dispute (and the contract hasn't even started...

    Scrum Talk

Possibly, but we have no evidence of that, we only have evidence that Sio and Holmes did very well against their reserve props I think the underlying point was the attitude and how we battled under pressure. No games at engage, just be square and straight. I think that led to us not being...

    Scrum Talk

Actually it was pretty complimentary of both scrums, showing that even under pressure Kepu was able to stay square and straight and not be penalised until the sixth scrum; and then suggested it was Skelton's work was the issue

A really good review of the scrums in this test (I haven't seen a better article for quite a while) http://www.the42.ie/australia-south-africa-scrum-analysis-2227932-Jul2015/

Yeah, Hooper & Pocock won't/can't start if Skelton is to start as well We need those three jumpers
