I'm supportive of Foley at 10 but for some reason I have a feeling it will be 10. To'omua 12. Lilo.

I think Quade is a massive loss. His form on the EOYT and in the last AB's game was just what the wallabies needed. Although If Quade is out then we could very well have a back-line of: 9. White 10. To'omua 11. Spreight - pnce eligible 12. Lilo/McCabe 13.Kuridrani 14. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 15. Falou That means...

OR Beale missing 2 easy penalties cos he's too retarded to tie his shoe laces, or playing a 10 out of position helped too.

I have always been a massive Pocock fan, he is one of my favourite players and my first pick in a wallabies squad when fully fit. BUT I think we are getting a head of ourselves assuming he is going to be in the mix come RWC. He has been out of the game for so long now its going to take a lot of...

I agree about JOC (James O'Connor)'s versatility and I would rate JOC (James O'Connor)'s defence way above Beale. I really don't think they can be compared in that manner. I would be much more confident in playing JOC (James O'Connor) in the 12 channel before Beale. Positioning he might need to work on but tackling wise he is good. 10. To'omua...

A bloody good post! 100% agree.

I don't know about that. I wouldn't be against him being in the squad. Last year however McKenzie put Foley on the bench (whilst Mogg was injured) and brought him on at fullback. I think. McKenzie could go with this option again which is probably more sensible as Foley is a better defender and...

Agreed, He is a specialist fullback with a good boot which is something that has been missing from Aus rugby since Latham and Burke. He could very well push for wallabies selection later on but not this year.

I'd be very wary of shifting Mogg to the wing for defensive reasons. Mogg is okay at cover tackling at fullback but bringing him up into the line at wing would be horrible. Also his lack of game-time in the position means he could easily get caught out of position.

Mogg is still fresh for Test footy, He is improving well - I thought he handled the pressure in the shark's game well and whilst he was occasionally pinned on the right side of the field he handled the pressure well and generally won the kicking battle. But as mentioned above Mogg marking up...

    Cheetahs Vs Bumbies - Rd 14 - 17 May 2014

I think McCabes lack of experience at 13 works against him. I don't think I can recall him ever playing there. Which is strange given his skill-set, you think 13 would be his best position but he has always played 12 or previously wing. So you would have to say Kuridrani, Lilo and Coleman are...

I understand that. My argument is this. Having Beale on the bench as an impact player is pointless because: 1. He has negative impact at 12. - for reasons mentioned above. 2. He has impact at 15 but Falou has better impact and I wouldn't sub him. Having Beale on the bench for his verstilty...

You really wouldn't want to rely on him covering 10 and 12.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

They are both playing 12 so theirs a lot of merit in comparing the two at this stage. Agreed both have completely different styles. But my argument is Beale's passing and kicking and play-making which is suppose to be what sets him apart from McCabe - is over-rated as he crabs cross field, makes...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

No I wouldn't be picking Beale because he is far from the second best 12. I would have To'omua, McCabe all ahead of him. Then theirs Inman, Goodwin who aren't playing badly either. For me Beale is a liability at 12 - he was easily exposed by the Brumbies. So he's not an option at 12 at Test...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Id be very disappointed to see Beale in the starting XV. Would much prefer to see McCabe or Foley over Beale. I don't rate Beale much at all - I really only rate his counter-attacking abilities in broken play but not much else. As a play-maker he is highly over-rated - he crabs across field and...

I agree with this. Higgers has the most potential out of the lot of them. We saw a glimpse of this last year in his super xv season before he got injured. Its disappointing his form isn't great at the moment and I wouldn't be putting him striaght into the starting team but I would like to see...

Being a Tah's fan i thought you would have in-depth knowledge of that concept. Anyways thats enough Tah bashing from me. Am I the only one who isn't concerned about our scrum? I doubt we will dominate teams but I also doubt they will dominate us. I see a lot less scrum penalties at Test...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Robinson who was once known as the best scrummager in Aus seems to have dropped that tag which is disappointing. I understand why last season he wasn't up to standard as he was returning from a long injury. However after originally being dropped from the wallaby squad and now getting decent game...
