    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

How do we get our players to start out-muscling their opponents? Is their a lack of strength and conditioning in Aus compared to NZ? It seems to be an on-going problem.

    Pocock too. Breakdown defence.

That's the problem isn't it. We have no other options. Horwill might be more physical but he hasn't shown much to back that up in the last few seasons. We got the same problem on the wings. McCabe didn't do much at all but we got no other options do we? Is Betham available?

Simmons too. Our locks just aren't physical enough. Always seem to get out muscled in contact.

I'd like to see Higgers in there too. I know he might not deserve it on super rugby form but his aggression and skill into contact is much needed.

Phipps over White next week for sure. Kuridrani for McCabe. McCabe need to involve himself more.

The most frustrating thing was seeing THE SAME GOD DAMN MISTAKES OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Why won't our players learn? Simmons discipline AGAIN! To'omua I thought played well until he didnt find touch - a mistake he has made more then once in the past! Don't you bloody learn from your mistakes...

Well this is shit. Simmons discipline again lets us down. Forwards can't produce go forward ball. Beale cant tackle. To'omua again can't find touch. White can't do anything but complain. Ball security a problem Can't see anything new in these wallabies.

I think you hit the nail on the head. On the bright side players like Slipper and Alexander really benefited from the new laws.

it might start a chain reaction to another dimension where we actually beat the All Blacks ;)

At this stage I don't think Robinson is going to improve it drastically. He needs another season to get find his scrummaging legs again. I know you mentioned he held his own in the super xv final but he needs a bit more consistency I think. Cowan didn't look like a liability at scrum time in...

Personally I think our scrum looks better then it has in years. Not perfect but it was pretty close with the All Blacks scrum last weekend. I hope it would only get stronger too once Moore and/or TPN returns.

Has Robinsons scrummaging even been that good? I thought it has been quite poor the last 2 years. It use to be his point of strength but I think he's far from our best scrimmager at the moment. Disappointed Sio is injured, he would provide great impact from the bench.

I'm going to have to disagree with your there. Last time Messam played for the All Blacks he carved it up. He plays a lot looser then Kaino which I think can work to the All Blacks advantage. They don't need a tight playing 6 when there tight 5 are so good. It's only a slight loss in my opinion...

I saw this too. Gave me man-love for Hooper.

There's not much Foley love here. Cooper is miles ahead of both of them combined. I'd simply prefer Foley over Beale because in the 10minutes he was on the field he threatened the line, which was more the what Beale did all game. Against France Foley also kicked his kicks. But he didn't...

Braveheart Why all the Beale love? Can you honestly be happy with his performance last week? Your bias if you think that was a satisfactory performance. I'm all for giving a player a chance to prove himself, personally I'd prefer Foley this week but I'd understand an argument for giving...
