Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed with the rule to keep the Bledisloe trophy all you have to do is win one and draw one. Bit unfair if we actually do end up winning in Brisbane. That would mean we both won one, drew one, and lost one. It should at least come down to point difference.

Should have just watched his last Test matches.

I'd expect the natural progression will see Pocock captain one day. Moore too leave after 2-3 seasons, Pocock playing 2-3 seasons and getting back to his best then taking over Captaincy. Sensible choice with Moore.

Agree. My point was however he is the ONLY 12 prospect we have. Other players are Lilo, Beale - and generally already know what we get from them. Tapuai maybe. Alternatively we got Inman, maybe Horne. That's if we change our current structures to suit their style. If To'omua gets injured we...

What happened to all your Beale love from last week? hate to say I told you so... ;) Agree. Biggest problem with our back-line.

Don't forget Kyle Godwin. He seems to be the 12 of the future for the wallabies.

Disagree, The biggest thing we need to improve is Forwards providing go-forward and clean-ball. Breakdown accuracy, aggression, cleaning-out on BOTH defense and attack. The best half-back in the world is going to have a hard time if his forwards are going backwards all game. Look at your...

Agree their a massive improvement at the scrum. But we still lack props with a bit of mongrel. Bruising players like the Franks brothers. Kepu is okay but far from intimidating. Slipper is very good - but I think he does play a bit looser then a normal prop. I'd like to see our props playing...

Really feel for the guy. Would be great to do some sort of tribute to him, maybe a simple Highlights video? I'm sure G&GR could russell something up!

Best in the World for the past decade. Over-taken that irish fella who wasn't at his best the last 5 years or so of playing.

This. SA have a reputation for playing BIG. Meaning aggressive and intense. Their big players usually know how to actually use their weight. Ours seem soft more often then not.

Agree about Hooper. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) would be behind Smith at 13. On current form not far off though. I couldn't see him considered as a winger would much rather Jane, Savea, B.Smith/Dagg.

True. But still behind Nonu and SBW. Worrying their team is so dominant across the board.

When you look at that AB team, I think TPN/Moore would be the only possibilities for a starting spot. Falou over Jane probably too, maybe Slipper.. but that's a tough call. No-one else, no fit or injured player, looks close to getting into that team.

Well many would say Beale was poor first Test. But lets call it average, that's still one poor and one average game and with an in-form Foley in the team I'd imagine he would be getting a start. Same for Carter too. One average, one poor game, Horwill has his chance to impress in the NRC and I...

They still beat a good Argentina pack didn't they? Never underestimate SA they are ranked number 2 in the world for a reason.

    Australia v South Africa - Perth - 6 September 2014

Hard call on Fardy to be dropped I thought his first Test was very good apart from the 2 early penalties. Higgers would have to be showing some very good form at training - his cameos have been good though. I would be surprised but not overly critical if dropped. In contrast both White and...

Looking at that forward pack on paper I got a bad feeling we're going to get bossed at the breakdown and collision area again.

Well to be fair he still tackled like a mad-man possessed. And I don't re-call any 50+ beatings while Pocock was on the field. TWAS ..You should know better then to go after my beloved Pocock ;)
