Still worried about our forwards especially the locks. The bench looks better, I hope they come on early. Hodgeson a good inclusion for the last 30minutes.

Beale at fullback - oh god.

Anyone watch Horwill on the weekend play in the NRC? Curious to know if he increased his chances?

    Brumbies 2015

How tall is Butler? Future 6 option? Could he be used in the line-out?

    Australia v South Africa - Perth - 6 September 2014

Agreed. We surely have the most unstable/diverse back-line in world rugby. It really is worrying when our wallaby 12 plays 10 all season and our wallaby 10 plays 12 all season. So who's wrong? Should the Tahs be playing 10. Beale 12. Foley and the Brumbies 10. Lilo 12. To'omua. I think so...

Can't believe he wasn't called up.

Problem is Super Rugby form is only a starting measure. Can't measure their effectiveness in a test where there is a higher pressure, higher intensity, higher tempo environment. How do you measure players like Alexander, McCalman, Hansen, Palu, Carter from super rugby form? They have been...

You forgot to mention Simmons consistently gives away penalties.

I agree with you. But comments like "he has done f-all for the wallabies in the past" is unfair. As this assumes is he can't produce a quality performance in the future because of his poor performances in the past. This is just untrue - as players develop in time. You look what made their...

    Australia v South Africa - Perth - 6 September 2014

To be fair on Higgers, if you look at the "trends of his past performances" He was playing a loose role at the reds and continued this role at the wallabies - which he was heavily criticised for. We wanted him to do more dirty work. Fair enough. Problem was he wasn't use to that as he played a...

The second Test he was a non-event though. Very disappointed in that.

Fardy was good in the first Test. Think he was very under-rated. His 2 penalties early on set an unfair perception of him. After that he was one of the best on field IMO, just as good as Slipper and Hooper.

Story of his career unfortunately. Deans should have locked him in as a 13 from day 1. Instead shifted around to 15, wing, even to 12 at one stage.

Not as much depth if an injury happens but I agree a back-three of Spreight, Falou, JOC (James O'Connor) could hold their own with all the names you listed.

Its not about "converting". Its about covering for injuries. There's a difference. Kuridrani only plays 13 and would be a bit slow on the wing, and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) has a load of experience on the wing.

    2nd Bledisloe: 3-2-1s.

    3. Hooper 2. Slipper 1. Falou

Our home games aren't really home games when half of NZ live in Aus anyway! ;)

Yeah your probably right. Apart from that one year where we had 4 Bledisloe games.
