    National Rugby Championship 2014

HELLO! Sponsoring a junket to Singapore for a 7's tournament two years ago, means nothing. How have they gone in 2012 & 2013 with this Alliance? Despite the assistance with recruiting from the Tahs coach,2/3 of the comp beat them in 2013.In fact the Rats who didn't even make the finals beat them...

The spirit of the existing code of conduct? Then you wouldn't support kids training 4-5 mornings & 4-5 afternoon field sessions every week? We won't mention the video sessions during the day,or the compulsory Sunday recovery sessions shall we? Or the occasional 2 to 13 mercenaries in the main...

I couldn't work out whether he was agreeing,or having a debate with himself.

    Reds 2014

The Reds media guys do a great job, they have really twigged to the fact the fans like to hear from the players more than just a package of highlights from a game.

SU is more than some smart dudes in a gym. What they have, wasn't done in an off season. They have strong supporters from decision makers in many different areas of the University, and in Business. UNSW don't even have an off season to try and start the replication process. They are starting from a...

    National Rugby Championship 2014

How would country work? Who would fund them for a start? Who would select? Where would they play, train, live etc Most Qld posters are not supportive of a Gold Coast side, given the high attrition rate of various sports that wither and die in this marketplace. Randwick are only iconic to the 50+...

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

It allowed many kids in the younger age groups (U10's) to give Rugby a go,whilst still playing League or whatever. I know heaps of kids who came to the game through this innovation.

He's always been earmarked as a talent. But one year at the Reds, then,Brumbies, then Rebels is a bit of a red flag.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Yeah, it was a sweeping generalisation. But it wasn't far wrong. I also have known hundreds of guys who played League for no money.Although I can't think of anyone of those guys who was in a team where no one was paid. It is just part of their culture, generally speaking.

Trial: Waratahs v Highlanders, Hunter Stadium, Newcastle, 14 Feb, Fri, 7:30 PM (EST)

I hope I share your view at the end of the year, can only be good for the Tahs if he has a good year.

Then you didn't see the left winger? Make him look like road kill last week. Just the fact the Reds let him go,suggests he is not top line. I think he will be reasonable cover for the better players this year. But that's it.

    Waratahs 2014

That's pretty much my point,we had no trouble trundling up the field. We needed a little more variety to actually get over the line. Turnovers are important, but so is having players that are suited to a quick counter attack. Who would you rather have the ball in open field KB (Kurtley Beale) or Horne? KB (Kurtley Beale) is...

    Waratahs 2014

I though Horne played well last year. But he is steady at best. But KB (Kurtley Beale) could really add something at 12.There is plenty of size and speed outside him, which could really benefit from him playing a second five role. It could be something really special to watch. We didn't rack up many 4 try bonus...

Pfft, If Randwick partnered in some way with UNSW is one of the best 10 alternatives, then the comp is fucked.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

The best example to refute your argument is this years draft of colts. Just a year after Cheika being the Tahs coach, miraculously 5 Oz Schoolboys turn up at his old club.

I don't see any 10's doing that. If we have a dominant pack,I reckon KB (Kurtley Beale) will work at 12. If our pack is not up to scratch then that channel might need bolstering.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

I don't want to get into a tit for tat about this, but the facts are: Salary cap is $250k for the top 20 players. IF it was shared equally, that's $12.5k a head. But it's not.each club have a few players they perceive are must haves. You know for example, the talk about one Manly jnr last year was...
