I would have thought the question should be,why do OB's have any influence at any School?

In that case, the ARU should rightfully cease funding Schools rep programs. It's not right to tax the clubs and fund the Schools,is it?

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

Performance bonuses for an employee leaving mid contract are definitely not a black and white issue. Even if it was, what KPI's could possibly warrant 100% of his bonus entitlement? We have done all this before, how can you justify that any CEO is entitled to earn more than the business he runs?

The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

He just pulled their pants down in every respect, but to be fair his predecessor had the same clause. So it's possible it's our venerable board that is petrified about being commented upon. JON was quick to note that he advised the board about the cash running out 4 odd years ago.(which makes his...

C'mon,it's unfortunate, but not foreseeable. He is a footballer, sometimes they get injured. Just hope it's not serious.

Nope, you'll have to type slower. I'm not getting it,unless you are suggesting there are a number of Schools that are still holding the line?

I disagree entirely. If he was on bad terms with each of his former clubs, then it would reflect poorly on him. My understanding is the opposite is the case. The fact that Norths wanted him back, underlines that point.

Player movements for Shute Shield 2014

Why the angst? You might have a point,if he never earned a cent, and was purely playing for the love of the game. But he is a semi pro, obviously there are substantial differences in what clubs offer.if you are playing for a chq, then you go where they want you the most. I think it's pretty...

The facts are, that Randwick is not competitive in their present competition. In what field do you get promoted for doing poorly? Randwick will be the human bye.

Who fucking cares? Let them earn their stripes in the SS. Plenty of Oz Schoolboy stars never convert to mens footy, even when they stay in the game. Why get excited about the return of failures of another code?

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

I agree with the thrust of your argument from U14's and beyond.Kids pay Rugby on Saturdays period. However, I recall not that long ago,MNZ had core & non core comps. i.e. Saturday comps & a fri night/Sunday comp, predominantly for the 10-14 age groups. That seemed to be a win win scenario to me.
