He needs to learn how to tackle first. He doesn't even slow them down ATM. He is definitely good with the ball in hand, very quick off the mark.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

We should not be trying to work out how to solve his problems. He is an adult. He has parents,a partner and a manager. He has a gut load of cash to spend on professional help if he so desires. It's more than a little ridiculous to blame his personal poor choices on anyone else. If he grows...

It's pretty good speculation. But the good news is,I am sure they have promised not to do it again. They'll use an NRC franchise rather than a Shute Shield Club next time.

Link, ignore me. I'll still remember two things. 1) he was a fucking dick 2)he was run over by every opposing Oz 12 in 2013. Sorry James, but if you are Tommy Carter road kill, you can stay the fuck in Europe. Forever.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

If we are strictly talking ATARs,then a child who sees an influx of maths geniuses in his year, will benefit greatly. The same poor child who sees an influx of super strong props, who can't count, will see his same efforts hampered substantially. ...Unless those props are encouraged not to sit...

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

Well,CHS used to be considered the base (or a formidable part of it) didn't it. I don't understand the busily expanding bit, where?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

8 weeks? In 2 weeks time, this thread will light up with 8 Tah's backs ( yep including the super sub KB (Kurtley Beale)) considered certainties for Wallaby selection after they give to the Rebels at Albury.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Are we stronger with IF on a wing & Mogg at 15, than IF at fullback with the best 2 wingers? I don't think so. Don't pick Mogg until he is the best available in whatever position he is selected.

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

C'mon Big Arse, Do the sums. If AFL paid Scots College $1.7M to commence an AFL program. That would translate to $1,000 per student. That sort of a reduction wouldn't even be noticed by most parents. It's not the cash,it's the program and ready made instructors, that would entice Schools IMO.

We all have short memories Bardon. Look at Quade, this time last year he was toast. Now he is being touted as a potential Wallaby captain. If JOC (James O'Connor) comes back, and he is in good form, everyone will wonder why he ever left.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Who says the 7th best in Sydney, will be in a position to, or have an interest in,terminating his lease, resigning his job and leaving any personal relationships he might have. To move interstate for 3 or more months for the princely sum of $5-10k?

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

I have never watched a game, and thought the camera work was poor. Can't say the same when hearing the odd comment from "Pappy",on the rare occasion the Woodies are playing!

    QLD Colts 2014

Invariably, the clubs with the best facilities and best coaches have the best resources. Despite the inevitable denials, clubs with resources are rarely outbid by poorer clubs.

Best Marquee player recruited by a Australian Super Rugby team

Braid. Forget about his performance on the field. His attitude and dedication at training was his biggest contribution to the franchise. He significantly changed the culture up there, I have been told by many.

The point is,equivalent Oz players to the SA signings have moved to Europe. He is only signing the "fish that John West rejected" Which goes to your next point about mediocrity. If you refuse to punt on raw talent, you are reliant on older mediocre talent. Where will you be in 3 years time...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Now that you mention it, I do recall that. The counter point to that argument is that a side that cannot kick to the open, because they are wary of IF,will avoid a stalemate in the scrum, and hope to win our lineout ball in our territory. If they can't score tries, and can't get any easy...

    RWC 2015 supporters tour

My understanding was,you need to book a particular QF/SF. That is,you had to determine whether they would finish 1st or 2nd in their pool,in order to select which final game you wanted to book. I am sure there will be plenty of punters wanting to swap tickets for different final games in the...

Mate, you guys are welcome to anyone the Tahs don't have room for. There are more promising players in Oz than there are positions. If you guys are happy with that strategy fine. But recruiting experienced players, limits any upside IMO.

He is in the EPS,big difference to the main squad. In any event Foley also signed Salesi Manu last year in the main squad, who was the same age. Gave him a run off the bench in the last game of the year.

If he is always going to select a 24 or 25 yo fringe player, ahead of a talented, but untested young player. It is logical to sign those kind of players. Kudos for him giving Godwin a run,but he is the exception to the rule.
