    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'm calling it now. If the Sharks go north then the other three will follow at the end of the current deal.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Fitness is an issue perhaps but what I see more than that is attitude and application of our players in comparison. NZ players seem to push harder to be where they need to be while ours tend to lope along. Check actually mentioned this after the loss to Scotland. About the players needing to...

    NRC onwards and upwards

That's because they think a 'national' competition begins and ends with them.

    NRC onwards and upwards

The only way forward for clubs to be more involved in the NRC is via JV arrangements. Which is essentially the same thing as what already exists in NSW.

    Time to cull the NRC?

No. Simple as that. I'd be open to it being just the 5 franchises plus Fiji played over two full home and away rounds using Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. But eliminating it is a big no.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Likely but could be any of them to be frank.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Read that a third franchise is apparently interested.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

A good example of that is Yamada. Who is class but elected to play for Panasonic instead of the Sunwolves.

    Waratahs 2017

I don't know how I feel about Simmons at the Tahs.

    Shute Shield 2017

That's just Manly isn't it? Not trying to be critical. I think that if the SS wants to truly be'the best club competition in the world' more efforts like this are needed right across the board. This is the Manly Roos program right? The SS clubs need to devise strategies to develop greater...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I still think there's an opportunity to form a truly global provincial rugby championship. First move would be to merge Super Rugby and the Pro 12(14 and if reports are correct 15 from the 2018/2019 season with Washington DC slated to join). From there add another Argentine/South American franchise...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I suggested the Top League as an option earlier inter thread for whichever team is cut.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The AP should ring fence their competition with 16 teams. This would ensure a better spread of locations covered. It also would represent the more realistic number of teams capable of competing full time across the top two division s of the English system.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The US is working on their own league. While PRO collapsed next year will see Major League Rugby launch with 9 teams.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Likely playing out of DC United's brand new stadium. Which is hardly surprising as DC United is Co-owned by the USAR Chairman Will Chang. He also happens to own around half of the SF Giants in the MLB. And where will the 2018 7s WC be held?*

    NRC onwards and upwards

    The NRC is better.
  17. WorkingClassRugger

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And there's a real chance that could occur.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Personally I'd prefer to see something based primarily around the Pacific. So our 5, NZ 5 the Sun wolves and Fiji. I think that would be a fairly entertaining competition.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Not sure if it's coveted in the article but apparently eyeing up the Champions Cup as its the games featuring the Irish teams that rate the highest. With SA looking north and a potential bidding war between Sky and BT and Pro could be looking up.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Did they plan this. I seriously doubt it. But if the door is open opportunistically I can see them barreling through.
