    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

They likely won't at least not publicly but yes, I agree. We need options and surely it wouldn't hurt to sanction this competition as a means of developing those options.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Could compete in both. See no real reason as to why they couldn't. It's an interesting development which I will be watching to see what comes of it. I think the primary goal will be to eventually force the ARU's hand with a merger of some kind.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Hong Kong would be a reasonable shout. Sri Lanka not so much. But I could be wrong. The AP Dragons (hopefully just called Singapore) would be another. Wouldn't shock me to see the Drua jump across nor the likes of the Rams actually, think someone like the Wild Knights may be a chance as well...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I reckon the Rams would be worth a shout if I were a betting man.

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

Wouldn't surprise me if we eventually see that happen. The colours are about right for it. But the mix of players on the field was pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting it to be essentially just a rebadged Woods squad.

NRC 2017: Perth Spirit vs Melbourne Rising @ McGillivray Oval 3pm Sunday AWST

Verity-Amm caught my eye. Has real good acceleration off the mark. Naisarani was immense. Has to be on the Wallabies radar, surely.

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

I was actually a little surprised to see how few Eastwood players started. Expected the team to be stacked with them but it was a rather fair mix. While I'm not a fan of the strip or the fact all the games are in or around Milner it was fairer than I expected.

NRC 2017: Perth Spirit vs Melbourne Rising @ McGillivray Oval 3pm Sunday AWST

Naisarani has been carving it up. Hugely talented young bloke.

    NRC Rnd 1: Rams v Eagles - Sunday @ 3pm

Interesting to see the Rams new kit. Very Eastwood.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Not sure if this has been covered but according to PlanetRugby both the Sharks and the Lions have written to the SARU expressing their desire to head north. Clearly, continuing the engagement and competition with NZ isn't as important or as much of a priority for them as it is for NZ. When...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

My post was more of a dig at Roger Davis and his aversion to taking games out west more than anything else.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Many don't like having to leave their comfort zone and venture "INTO THE WEST!!!" of the city. A dark and dangerous place full of people not from the Eastern Suburbs/Northern Beaches. I've never had an issue getting to Homebush and Campbelltown Stadium would be a doddle. The stadium is 100m...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The value for the likes of Twitter is more about users than actual revenue created from these broadcasts. The real value there is their ability to collect and then sell data.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

If they were brave enough to bring a game to Campbelltown Stadium I'd be all for it. Many complain about getting to Homebush but that's not every half as much of a pain in the arse to get to as Allianz is if you live anywhere beyond the Inner West.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The likes of the SS has been helped along by just how dire we've been at Super Rugby level of late. But regardless it's good to see. What the clubs need to do now is develop solid strategies to further community engagement not just toward those who have some kind of link to the clubs but those who have...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yes, there is. Despite what many may believe technology is making it easier than ever to develop new broadcast avenues and with ever decreasing overheads. There's also the movement from platforms such as twitter toward sports broadcasting as a means to find a greater position within the social...

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

The Rays are understandable. Two of the three squads that primarily feed them played in the SS GF on the weekend. It's probably a matter of finding out who's available before announcing the squad. As for the Rams. That's easy. Take most of Eastwood, add a healthy dose of Manly and add a dash of...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Well, I'm done. While I have always been a Tahs fan first and foremost I cannot keep going with this current pack of fuckwits at the helm. I'll still watch Rugby but I'm done with Australian Rugby. Could the last person left please turn out the lights.
