Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

HE tamed Cheika to a large degree. And in the early days of Rennie was very verbal - and isn't anymore. It would be a worry if you could map his commercial input through social media.

God help me, are we allowed to say that? Hell yes.

I think that Scott Johnson has on the whole been a crazily needed centre of common sense within the Wallaby coaching structure. Sure, he may not be needed to the same extent now, as we have needed his role previously. But it is a bloody good investment.

JOC (James O'Connor) for 10 mins; Lolo for 8 mins. I also would think that White/McDermot have a larger role there.

White definitely made several as sweeper including the try saver. Don't know exactly how many but I had thought it was a question that would come up. My "beef" is that the pack would normally align as two pods and the flankers wider. The locks + probably no #8 have to do the heavy lifting as...

No I was actually talking about the second row, who I thought should have stood up, and imo did not. I guess no need to apologise. It's good too have different opinions. Mine here, very clearly, is that the second row was not good enough. Which doesn't mean I can't see strengths, just...

@TSR here is another performance item where our locks were actually sublime - maul destruction. Even with some odd ref decisions at the line out, they worked around it and defused the English maul. Not in the stats, and awesome. And yet, in the mean time, Nick White was more successful on...

No TSR, they don't tell a full story and never will. They do however tell an actual measured story, generally around an important issue. You think I'm drawing a false conclusion on our second row? From that last game? Fair enough mate. We don't have to agree on everything. I stand by the...

Mate, I won't chase all of these items but pick up on Rodda. Against Scotland he was: 5 runs for 3 m; 8 tackles for 1 miss. So he is in the engine room, multiple runs for little gain is fine as long as there is gain. So that is adequate. Not very busy but adequate. Not substantial though. Hope...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Is that the first ever ANZAC theme round? How utterly bazaar it has taken this long. That will be one weekend when I will be happily watching Kiwis.

I got 60m with 5m from the bench. Same-same though. And less than 20m from the tight 5. Jesus, I wish I hadn't checked that. I get the issues this time in the front row, but wow, the locks with just 3m for the game, just wow.

There were a lot of contributors to the lop-sided penalty count. One that is missed a lot is that we are playing a territory (kicking) game, but losing that battle. This increases time in D. Our D is actually mostly quite managed, but the modern referee watches D more than attack and the...

Our scrum was dominated by Poite, not Scotland.

Less flashy, much better at organising. At this level they shouldn’t really need organising. I think he’d give it a solid shot.

I don't see any reason that Banks can't go through to RWC. All the same I'm completely OK if the role is overrun by someone better. Beale isn't it. Hodge might have had a chance but possibly not at this stage. Petaia is along shot unless he makes the slot his own in Super (and I think displacing...

It depends how deep you go into the implementation. With Quade WBs only needed the one playmaker. With Lolo they looked for better handling to top it up at 12.
