Quade telling it how it is

I was sure that was going to be page 100....damn!

Quade telling it how it is

The word on the street is that he has turned his back on Australian rugby, after being pushed of course. He did act as though he felt he was bigger than the game. There have been many off-field issues with him and he has had many opportunities to redeem himself, none of which he took. He...

Quade telling it how it is

It is petty bullshit and will rob Australian rugby of a potentially great player. I realise QC (Quade Cooper) has his issues but he also has a passing game and excitement factor that the ARU could only wish for........now. They had both in the palm of their grubby little hand when he conceded to their...

McCabe has fracture in neck - at least 3 months out

That's bad luck for him. Love him or hate it cannot be denied that he gives 110% all of the time. Hope he is back playing soon.

GAGR Vote - Should Deans go after the EOYT?

Surely the decision has already been made (or not). We cannot limp from poor to adequate performance with the ARU changing their mind about this each time. The problems still do exist and changes are being forced on Deans that have actually improved the balance of the side. The consistency is...

As Qwerty rightly pointed out to me a day or so ago, Moore has only had 15 minutes on the paddock since returning from injury. He is clearly the better all round player and should be the starter when fit. Hope TPN is OK. How much longer can he carry on banging his noggin? We are very lucky to...

But it looks as though Taps is going to straighten it up. He has a good nose for a gap and generally takes the right option. Hopefully KB (Kurtley Beale) can give him some good half chances. It may be a little early for him but hoping it works out well. This change could potentially shift our backs into gear again.

    End of Year Tour 2012

I don't think so. We have some amazing talent at our disposal and if most are fit it will just take a little direction for them to be once again challenging the top side(s). Agreed we need some changes in the way we play the game now but we have the personnel required to be right at the pointy...

If they are on the bench they should be fit enough to play. Moore has some playing time under his belt. I think Deans favours TPN at scrumtime. There was always the option to start Samo at 6 and leave Dennis on the bench as a reserve 5/6. This could have given us a little more grunt in the first...

GAGR Vote - Should Deans go after the EOYT?

David Campese says Australia coach Robbie Deans should be sacked David Campese, the former Australia wing, has lambasted the Wallabies for their inability to score tries and he has called for head coach Robbie Deans to be sacked...

How far away is Mitchell and will he be on the bench?

So with Pocock and Douglas not available I assume we will have something like this Robinson Moore Alexander Sharpe Timani Samo Hooper Palu Sheehan KB (Kurtley Beale) Ioane McCabe AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) Cummins Barnes Kepu Slipper TPN Dennis(no-one else with Simmons most likely on the plane) Gill Phipps Tapuai Harris Higgers...

MMM was a borderline selection for the Wobs before he went to Japan. He will have to prove himself in Super rugby before he even gets a look in at test level again. Hopefully his temperament and body height in contact have been drastically reformed while playing backyard footy in Japan. There...

GAGR Vote - Should Deans go after the EOYT?

Yes, and he will not leave under his own steam. The decision has to be made, should have already been made, by the ARU.

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

Obviously Genia, Cooper, JOC (James O'Connor), Lilo, Horwill, Palmer etc can help shore everything up but the Wallabies have performed way below par at times when these guys(not Lilo) have been on the field in the last 12 months as well. I read yesterday Deans is now the longest serving Wallaby coach and has the...

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

It was a great game and Scotland were able to penetrate with ball in hand and respond quickly to turnover ball to score points. On the other hand the ABs made huge yards over the ad line every time they had the ball. Scotland need to work on their defense

    Deans contract extension

Not every coach of the Wallabies, SA or NZ get the opportunity to coach a series against the Lions. That is one draw card. In a full strength Wallaby squad right now there would be a good number of Reds players, and some of those very influential within the Wallaby framework (Horwill, Genia...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

That performance certainly gives QCs claim more credibility Biggsy. Still, there were better ways to get his point across. Genia and QC (Quade Cooper) are sorely missed by the Wobs right now.
