    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

I don't think you can start Slipper and expect our scrum to stand up for long, so switch he and Alexander. Our scrum has been at its best lately with Alexander at TH. Also switch Timani and Hooper. Hooper and Pocock in tandem in the last 20-30 minutes will work but we need a little more beef at...

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

Surely Alexander should start at TH if fit? Kepu was a disaster, lying on the wrong side of rucks and not doing much in the scrum. Alexander and Moore to start with Robinson in the front row. Leave the second row as is Timani starts at 6 with Palu and Hooper in the back row. Samo could also...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

There needs to be more than just a couple of changes Slim because if we roll that same team and (non)game plan out against the Poms we will be on the end of another similar hiding. We again went into an important game yesterday with a solitary play maker. Most times we have done so in the past...

Sheehan to nine definitely Timani to 6 Dennis out of the 22 Barnes to 15 Digby to 11 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13 Taps to 12 Ben Alexander to start at TH Moore starting Fat Cat retained at LH to give us a running chance at scrum time Pocock, Mitchell and Samo on the bench with whoever is left Simmons will be on...

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

That was a very good display of how to lose. Isn't it supposed to be how not to lose? I am confused.........again

When are they going to announce the side?

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

KB (Kurtley Beale) was looking pretty good with his distribution in the last 2 outings. The open running try scoring rugby will come with a 5/8 getting front foot ball who is reading the game well and a couple of blokes outside him who can grab a half opportunity and make something of it. The return of Genia...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

They were rushing up from the outside to shut him down. A couple of grubbers or chips were needed to keep them honest. I know....damned if you do and damned if you don't

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

I don't really "like" it, but thats the way it will go.

    Waratahs 2013

Great News. It has been back and forth over the past few months and that usually means that the Tahs will not get their man. This is very good for NSW and Australian rugby.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) should stay at 13. We need to find the right 12. McCabe is it for now but when Lilo, JOC (James O'Connor) and Taps are back on deck and continue to develop their respective games then one of them may be a better alternative.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

I thought AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was good again at 13. He is much bigger and stronger than McCabe and makes headway every time he takes on the line. Once or twice he did not pass to Digby because it would have been risky and Diggers was not in space. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) should be our long term outside centre.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

QC (Quade Cooper) had a bad game for sure but I am not certain that all the comments regarding his attitude are on the mark. He is trying to do what he does best and it was just not coming off all(most) of the time. A couple of years ago when everything he touched turned to gold all and sundry were hailing him...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

Cooper needs to stay at 10. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 and probably McCabe at 12. I wouldn't mind seeing Sheehan given a start next week to see what he has. I thought Phipps actually provided quicker service than WG has lately. He was just a little unsure of where to go at times and this caused some unforced...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

Douglas and Hooper have both shown from the get go that they belong at the highest level. Phipps was hot and cold. We really lack direction without Genia, Pocock and Horwill. Sharpie was a good captain but will not be around for long. Graham Henry coached the Pumas very well on how to negate the...

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

Could easily have been 20-6 in our favour at the break. We certainly have a very bad habit of making ourselves work hard for any win over the past 12 months. Argentina again showed a lot of ticker and will be very tough at home.

2012 Rugby Championship Round 4 Game 2 Australia vs Argentina - 15 Sep

Support play has become a problem in the last year or two. Hence we have been relying on Genia to make breaks and give us go forward. One out runners are very easy to defend against. Last time out we started to get some combinations going in the second half and were making some metres around the...

A good win would certainly help to bring the crowd in to the next test there.
