Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Hah. Now that is a cop out. The number of Wallabies is a simple illustration of the difference in talent between our two backlines. Stop making excuses for the Waratahs. You had the cattle to play more skillful, more exciting rugby. You chose not to. You chose conservatism. Repeatedly. We...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Disagree. You're looking at that from the wrong angle. Kicking isn't a particular strength of the Tahs, or so the last few seasons have shown us. Running the ball would have been if the team was actually prepared to do it. Last year you had Kurtley Beale, Lachie Turner, Drew Mitchell, Rob...

    Club Players with potential

ARU pushing pretty hard for Ollie Hoskins from the Force Academy. I'd be great to see him get on the field, unless of course that means signing with the Rebels for the next few years.

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Looks like the ARU are pushing fairly hard for the Rebels to pick up Ollie Hoskins to cover their prop crisis. Might rule him out of the JWC.

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

You almost sound like you believe that. The Force has gone into the last two games playing to their strengths (breakdown) and away from yours (defence/scrums). So it's a territorial game for us, but the Force don't choose how you respond to it. If you are so piss poor at the breakdown, recruit...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Hah. That's the only part of the competition that the Waratahs are guaranteed of winning.

    Wallabies 2012

Me neither. I wasn't a fan of him when he played for the Force. I haven't seen him much for the Rebels but there are some unchangeables about him: He's not fast enough and he doesn't have creativity or nous. If you were playing two playmakers at 10/12 then maybe he could fit in, but if Deans...

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

I would be surprised if Ollie Hoskins and Gary Neugebauer from the Force academy weren't in strong consideration for 3 and 1. Both played for the Aus U19s against England. Hopefully both have improved since last year having spent another season around some of the props we've had in the senior side.

2012 S15 New Kids on the Block

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) doesn't have that crash hot a passing game. Nick Cummins needs to focus a bit on ball handling too.

Form Australian Players After Round 4

And fair enough too. I'm sure the Rebels would play him there because they did before Byrnes was rubbed out. You've got to do what's best for yourself provincially before you do what's best for the national team. I'd like to see Sam Wykes given a run at 6 for the Force, but I know it won't...

How does this help Australian Rugby.

Ged Robinson will be Wallaby eligible next year, won't he? He will also take over the starting spot at the Rebels when he is fit. There really is no need for a swap. Embrace the multiculturalism of the Wallabies. Of the 15 players who ran out against New Zealand in the RWC Semi, only half were...

Form Australian Players After Round 4

I like the idea of Luke Jones playing 6 and sticking with 6. He's powerful and athletic and a more than capable jumper. He reminds me of Juan Smith who is along with Kaino as the best 6 in World Rugby. We could use an enforcer 6 like that. We have plenty of other lock options. I reckon Kimlin...

How does this help Australian Rugby.

You're a Reds fan aren't you Disco? If you are, don't be a bloody hypocrite. Explain Mike Harris away. The Force made some mistakes sure, but you are making it out to be a bigger issue than it is. Daruda stayed with the Force for four years- he didn't improve a lot in that time. We dropped...

    Digby banned for five weeks

Too much to read. But it doesn't look like anyone brought up Rory Sidey. He got three weeks last year for a tackle far worse than Digby's and wasn't even cited for a fairly equal tackle (not a spear but a lift) on Berrick Barnes. Not that I am complaining. We play the Reds in 2 weeks.

    Rebels v Force - Round 5 - Super Rugby 2012

Yes he did. They were sitting on the counter near the door and then they were gone. I knew it was him because there was a smear of hair wax where the lollies had been. They were good ones too- those lolly teeth.

2012 S15 New Kids on the Block

I don't know. What was the injury that kept him out of the first couple of rounds?

2012 S15 New Kids on the Block

He's only played one game. Give him a bit of a chance.

What if Greg Growden was on GAGR??

The only poster annoying enough to be Greg is Mudskipper.

    Rebels v Force - Round 5 - Super Rugby 2012

It'll be really interesting to see the starting line-ups that each team trot out. You'd have to back the Force at the breakdown, but it might not come to that. Like the Hurricanes, perhaps guys like O'Connor and Beale will tear through our defence on the counter attack and put the game beyond...

Form Australian Players After Round 4

Sharpie has been giving away far too many penalties. His first against the Tahs was a bad call but nevertheless I think he is leading the Force's penalty count. He's been good though. I've really like Cowan and Charles. Angus Cottrell and Alfie Mafi have impressed too. Funny thing about this...
