Force vs Stormers S12R10 @ NIB Stadium, Perth

Rules are rules but in the spirit of the game the try should be considered fine.

    Reds 2013

Ease up Penguin. No home talent poachers is a bit of an unfair cop. WA juniors are rapidly improving in skills and so is WA representation in national age grade teams. Age grade teams picked by Eastern Staters. The junior pathway over here has been rooted in the ass by the ARU with their...

Force vs Stormers S12R10 @ NIB Stadium, Perth

Does it really matter. Noone was anywhere near him. Complaining over something like that is a waste of time. He could have easily placed the ball delicately over the line given how much time and space he had. It's a non-issue. As shitty as the Force's attack was tonight, the Stormers were only...

    aus front row

Horses for courses is good. I'd prefer Deans just told the front row to play their hearts out or be replaced. No better motivation than that. We have three good options in each position. Kepu, Palmer and Slipper at TH Moore, TPN and Charles at Hooker Robinson, Alexander and Cowan at LH...

    Western Force 2013

I'm being a bit harsh. I just don't like Mark Chisholm. That was more directed towards Dean Mumm and Tom Carter. I know he wasn't that flash, but I wouldn't mind having Tom Hockings back.

ARU looking to stage tournament to replace June Tests in 2017

The good thing is that they are thinking about this 5 years ahead of time. This tournament would only be any good if two Australian sides were put in. With home ground advantage it's pretty hard to see us losing any games with a full strength squad. Now let's not bring up Samoa last year.

    FORCE INJURY CRISIS

I thought it was mostly Waratahs fans who blamed Hickey for not making rotations. And I don't know if it was so much that, or if it was that he brought players back from injury too soon. But almost every coach does that.

    Western Force 2013

There is a fair bit of Force hating going on in this thread. :) Dean Mumm? Tom Carter? Mark Chisholm? Give us a little credit. Who are you going to suggest next? Rocky Elsom? Ben Hand? Maybe if we are lucky the Brumbies will release Leon Power for us.

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Shit if you guys don't want him we'll take him. I don't think I've ever seen him play a bad game for the Wallabies. With possible exception to the RWC Quarter final in 2007. I don't want to start another shit fight, and I'm not suggesting that Richard Graham is any better as a coach, but you...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

He started ahead of Ben Alexander in both the 3rd place play off and the later test against Wales. But then again I don't rate Ben Alexander that highly as a scrummager.

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

You do know that Robbie Deans is still the coach, don't you? Robbie almost always selects his favourites regardless of form and fitness. Ma'afu played reasonably well in the RWC 3rd place play off and the Wales/Barbarians tests. Last night highlighted that he is a bit waste of space, but before...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Well done Waratahs. That could have been a lot worse for the Force. I'm glad that the second half saw it turn into more of a contest. Your front row was excellent tonight and probably played Salesi Ma'afu out of Wallabies contention. Three great games in a row for Nick Cummins. I wonder if...

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Not a lot of players with Super Rugby experience which is good.

Eddie Jones is at it again

The short term pain couldn't come at a better time. The Reds won the competition last year, saved themselves from financial ruin, and reinvigorated rugby more than just a bit, while the Wallabies are reigning Tri-Nations champions.

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Fair enough. I really liked the sense of urgency that Foley had in that semi-final against the Blues. That's only one game but you see it a bit from him at full back too. You get the feeling that he could rev up a team in a way that Barnes couldn't. What about trying Barnes at 15 to keep...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Would anyone else like to see Bernard Foley play 10? Berrick Barnes to 12. Adam Ashley Cooper to 15. Or at least not wasted on the wing.

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

Yeah I may have gone a bit overboard on the counter-fishing. I actually don't mind the Waratahs. That game last season in Sydney was bloody dull. And lets face it that is what all this arguing over boring rugby is about. But believe me, for Force fans, that game was a lot better than when you...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

I'm biting at everything today. You guys are just upset because you think the Force are going to take the Waratahs on and beat them at their own dull game and you are worried it will work. Like we did in Sydney. You guys shouldn't care if fans of other teams think you are boring. The fact...

    2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Yes it probably is too soon. Mind you, James Slipper debuted at 20 for the Reds.
