    Western Force 2012

That would likely be his older brother Benson. Winston has only picked up a handful of caps for the Blues. Cameron Shepherd is a reliable goal kicker. He just isn't reliably on the field. Stannard is a decent short range kicker too. Brett Sheehan has occasionally taken long kicks in the past...

    Western Force 2012

Is that in order? The Brumbies aren't even on the list? The SA bookies must think Jake White is Anne Sullivan. Wooden spooner has to be between the Brumbies and the Hurricanes.

    Rebels 2012

I don't think Lancaster will call up Cipriani. Unless there is an injury crisis with a few of the other young lads.

    Western Force 2012

Richard Graham said just before Christmas that he will be giving Stannard first crack at 10. Whether that pans out remains to be seen but at least he acknowledges what Stannard offers. In Ripia's defence, he was brought back too early from injury and should be slightly less stodgy than last year...

If Currie Cup was a good yardstick, the Cheetahs would have done a lot better in Super Rugby. They are certainly getting better but I don't think they have the depth to be finals contenders yet.

    Rugby Predictions for 2012

IMO Hore is only equal to Mo Schwalger, who has now gone. Haskell will be good but will his arrival make up for the loss of Tom Donnelly? The Crusaders don't need McCaw to win, they took plenty without him last season courtesy of Matt Todd. Dan Carter out will hurt but I'd wager Tyler Bleyendaal...

    Rugby Predictions for 2012

I think the Bulls will argue against that. They were 12th in 2010 and picked up 3/3 to start the competition last season. Pretty much every team struggled with injuries and depth. They lost at home to the Lions and the Force in the final stages of the competition and the last two rounds saw a...

Probably as many kiwis as poms and saffas.

    Rugby Predictions for 2012

The Highlanders were found out in the end of 2011. I reckon they picked up a lot of their early season wins from taking sides by surprise. They are a good squad but they will be lucky to make the finals.

Pek Cowan tweeted: "Just seen that EWF membership has hit the 12K mark ! Bring it on NIB #seaofblue" Hopefully we'll get another thousand or two in the next month and keep NIB full or close to it.

    Brumbies 2012

Well yeah, while you have Mowen fit you obviously play him at 6 but in the short term Kimlin has a better chance of making the Wallabies at 6.

    Brumbies 2012

I doubt they will but maybe they'll show enough promise by the end of the season to be able to look on the year as a positive. To'omua and Lealiifano have yet to put together a good season from start to finish and, even if it is this one that they break out, the rest of the backs have either no...

    Rebels 2012

Yeah. I think he played only played 6 games last season so he must have played every game in 2010. He did look good in 2010.

    Waratahs 2012

It would have been pretty hard for Sharpe to have salvaged anything from the mess that our line-out was against the Boks in that quarterfinal. Deans should have played all three with Horwill at 6. God knows he would have done more than Elsom.

    Rebels 2012

Agree on Mortlock. Some players play better in their twilight- how good have Adam Wallace-Harrison and Radike Samo been for the Reds. Inman got injured about 10 minutes into the Force's second game. I'd hardly call that having a breakout year. Especially when he was pretty average against the...
