Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

At the moment Beale would be hard pressed to come into serious calculations if most are fit. Time will tell.

    Wallaby Locks

That is a challenge but some of our best Wallabies have been plucked from obscurity to end up playing big roles and having outstanding careers. Someone like Coleman just may have the attributes to perform very well at the highest level given the chance. We really need to find a hard nosed bopper...

    Waratahs 2015

Folau is a pretty handy fullback but there is no doubt that all of the great fullbacks have had a decent boot on them and his is average to wobbly. I would view him as a back 3 player and most suited to the wing where he can inject himself at will from the blind. We all know he loves the try...

    Waratahs 2015

So AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) goes to the wing? Great move. We will need him at his best at 13. Maybe late in a game when the sub shuffling starts Folau can grab 20 minutes here and there at 13 to see what he has. He would probably be very good at Super level.

    Waratahs 2015

All things being equal and if all players are available and in form then TK get's the Wallaby 13 jumper without question. His defensive sting cannot be matched by Folau or anyone else on the scene right now. I would have Folau on the wing if either of Hunt or Beale are showing irresistible form...

    Rebels 2015

Sweet as!!! A smokey for the RWC maybe???

    Waratahs 2015

Opens the door for Squeaky Moore to captain and for Pocock to get a starting spot if fit and performing. Nothing much in it but a Wallaby captain shouldn't be anywhere near it.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Absolutely. Stick him on the bench for the RWC and then send him off to Northern prop school to get him ready for 2019. Why was he not selected for the EOYT?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I'm sure Izzy won't mind sliding across onto the wing?

Spring Tour - Wallaby Forwards - What do the stats tell me?

I disagree. Cheika will be well aware that he does not have the tight 5 personnel that he needs to make a successful RWC assault. He will be looking for a couple of new people to lift the aggression and strength of that tight 5 contingent. I would suggest that there is opportunity for the likes...

Spring Tour - Wallaby Forwards - What do the stats tell me?

We have Neville and Pyle from Melbourne and Coleman from the West. At least one of them should be brought into the squad for the RC. It may come down to us having an exceptional back row to balance out an average second row. That's nothing new for us. Hopefully one of these blokes steps up big...

Spring Tour - Wallaby Forwards - What do the stats tell me?

I am guessing so. It appeared as though all side were following this trend going back to the ABs in the RC. The Argies too. I guess that it minimizes the chance of being penalized while also ensuring you have the numbers to match the opposition on the next phase.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Right. Thats why we need to unearth(or bring back) a couple of TH locks. Simmons is a gimme for his lineout work. Horwill can back him up but we could dearly use a couple of strong body moving scrum pushing TH second rowers......and a back-up TH prop. Just those 3 people will see us going into...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

We are clearly lacking in the reserve front row and locking departments. If I was Cheika I would be putting in calls to Maafu, Timani and Douglas to see If I could get them back to OZ on a short contract. Timani and Douglas are two excellent TH lock options to partner Simmons and Horwill at LH...

    England v Australia

More likely KB (Kurtley Beale) or JOC (James O'Connor) I was thinking but Mogg has the skills to be good for Australia when he gets a more rounded game.

    England v Australia

Both SA and the ABs have solid packs and there is no better place to practice a new approach. Firstly we need to shore up our scrum and general forward play. Enter Pocock, Moore, TPN, Palu, Fardy, Higgers and Coleman, Sio and maybe one other up and coming lock. Shit, get Timani back even...

    England v Australia

What we really need is a couple of big nasty second rowers and some back up props. With Moore and TPN we are good at hooker. Our 6 needs to be a lineout option and our starting 7 should be an on the baller.
  18. Joe Blow

    England v Australia

Yep, but when they were playing our set piece wasn't much better. They need to buy into it as well.
  19. Joe Blow

    England v Australia

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was good. Ran for more metres than anyone else on the field and defended well. Phipps was off today. The rest of the backs were fine. If we had a half decent pack we would have won that by 2 scores.
  20. Joe Blow

    England v Australia

We were always on a hiding to nothing with our new coach signing on the dotted line on his way to the airport to meet a group of players that he didn't pick, some he didn't even know. He also did not have his choice of coaching staff outside of Nathan Gray. There is no way we could have won this...
