    Rebels 2015

Higgers will be back in a year or two. Maybe they can snag him on a similar deal to those others? Wish he would hang around as he is probably coming into his prime now. It would be in the ARUs best interests to try and do the same.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

This. He is playing poorly. Does not offload and is pretty much just a bosh merchant for the Force. He should have been kept at 12.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I thought they were odds on to score but must admit I was surprised at the decision both times

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

We are talking provincial rugby as compared to test. I think if it was a test and Moores decision he would take the points every time unless trailing by 4+. The previous week their rolling maul was unstoppable. The odds of then scoring and setting the Tahs back on their arse were pretty good.

Love to see Moore as captain with Hooper and Pocock his deputies.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

LFG? I was not serious about playing Hooper and Pocock but Smith as one of our 8s.......no?

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

TWAS. But he does bring sensational linking abilities and his defense and breakdown work are easily above the level of any 8s playing in Australia right now. I would also argue that he is just as strong as Palu at the coal face but with a much higher work rate and the ability to read the game so...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

I wouldn't start both Pocock and Hooper. But Smith at 8.............yes, it has some merit.
  9. Joe Blow

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Both 8s were pretty quiet last night. Vaea being slightly more prominent but easily taken care of by the Tahs defense. George Smith at 8 anyone...

Beale....will he go or not? Probably as he is one of Cheikas favoured players. Then tit's possible there will be injuries that open up a couple of spots. Hopefully not many.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I'd say that is spot on except Higgers in place of Gill. He won't take 3 opensides. As much as we all want to see Coleman or Arnold or Cottrell or PAE or whichever uncapped future star you want in the squad, its a RWC squad and he will carry as much experience as possible. Horwill, Alexander...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I don't think we have the luxury of taking McMahon if both Hooper and Pocock are fit. I would start either of them over him at 6 or 7. He only plays 6 and is not a legitimate lineout option

    1 Slipper 2 Moore 3 Kepu 4 Simmons 5 Coleman 6 Fardy 7 Pocock 8 Higgers 9 Phipps 10 Foley 11 JOC (James O'Connor) 12 To'omua 13 Kuridrani 14 Speight 15 Folau 16 TPN 17 Sio 18 Holmes 19 Skelton 20 Hooper 21 Genia 22 Giteau 23 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

    That lineout will get dusted.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

To'omua, Giteau and QC (Quade Cooper) are all test match quality which means that if Foley starts, To'omua or Giteau must as well. I would choose To'omua with Gits on the bench. Only one of Foley or QC (Quade Cooper) in the 23.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Beale is good option at 15 as is AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). I think both would pip Mitchell for pace these days.

    Big change to eligibility rules

I bet Cheika is on the phone with Douglas encouraging him to return next year. Maybe Kimlin as well. George Smith could be an option if Poey or Hooper get injured. Gits will already be pencilled in on the RWC squad with question marks now next to QC (Quade Cooper) and KB (Kurtley Beale) on the same document. It's bloody...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Kuridrani is due back this week or the next I think, which is timely for the Brums. A couple of pages back someone suggested that the lineout was not a big issue for them. It should be as our scrum has been a glowing weakness for some time now and it's unlikely that it will be more than...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think as far as lock goes both Simmons and Skelton are on the plane if fit. Maybe Carter as well? Horwill is looking very shaky but could get an invite because of his experience. Then you have Coleman, Jones and Arnold all putting their hands up. Are we taking 4 or 5? If Jones goes as a back...
