    Where to for Super Rugby?

They can't. It's pretty simple in that. But they'd be crazy to try and maintain 14 professional provinces. That's why they probably shouldn't. More look to reduce the numbers of professional provinces to 8 or so if they were to go down this path. Certainly no more than 10. Take the Premiership...

    Global Rapid Rugby

Not even remotely surprised by this becoming an option. And one that shouldn't impact upon MLR much at all as Hawaii is far enough from the mainland not to come into direct competition with it. Super Rugby was likely never a real option for this venture due to its recent history.

NRC Grand Final 2018 - Fiji Drua v QLD Country

I'm hoping for a full house. Which is what this game deserves.

    Global Rapid Rugby

    Probably very little of substance.

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

I think he was referring to their loss in McKay earlier in the competition.

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

I've never really been able to get into the CC all that much. They've chopped and changed it so much over the years its become difficult to care. I've been actively watching the Makos in the M10 since 2014 but generally speaking I enjoy tuning in. Not s much as the NRC but it fills the void when...

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

I've been able to watch quite a lot of this year's M10 this season on Foxtel. Truth be told the NRC properly promoted and resourced would be far more valuable than what the M10 could ever offer in regard to just being filler.

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

Right. But how does Fox owning the M10 rights in Australia effect Fiji?

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

QLDC looked more composed and a lot less rushed in how they went about it particularly in the wet and deserved the right to play next week. Good game overall. They've got a hell of a task at hand for next week though. Fiji in Fiji are a completely different proposition than on the road...

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

In a perfect world RA, WR (World Rugby) and Forrest would be able to sort out all the relevant issues and work together to push the game forward in this country and region. Imagine if we had a competition featuring the 4 Super Rugby plus the Force alongside Western Sydney. Fiji and Samoa. Could even look at bringing...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

There's also a Dutch teen who's doing quite well in NZ as well.

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

Prone to making silly choices. Like fronting up to one of the Fijian players who was at least twice (possibly three times) his size after Fiji scored under the posts.

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

Marginal though I'd be inclined to say yes more than no. However, I have seen worse given so.........

NRC Semi Final - Drua v Vikings

That's game, set and match. Really enjoyed this game.

    Waratahs 2019

Jesus. I actually hadn't looked at the date properly. Rubbish scheduling. For anyone from Sydney for sure. They're going to have to go really hard in the promotion to the locals in the Southern Tablelands/Highlands.

    Waratahs 2019

It's an hour and a half from where I live which is as far out as you can be and still technically be part of Sydney.

    Waratahs 2019

That'd practically be a home trial for the Brumbies being only an hour from the capital. Hopefully both teams get out there a week before and start drumming up support at the local schools and facilities.

    Waratahs 2019

I'll be making the effort to get out to those games next season. Much more convenient to get than Moore Park. Interested to find out which regional centre will host the game (I suspect it will be Newcastle).

    Rugby News from unexpected places

So, DC is apparently looking to run an exhibition season next year in preparation for entry in 2020. Not official yet and may not be made official for a while but they have received 1200 season ticket deposits and are tracking very nicely.

    NRC 2018

So combining City and Country in QLD to form the Reds would make them stronger but doing the same in NSW to form the Tahs wouldn't? Really? Pretty sure the Tahs won the Aus conference this year and the Reds came fourth. Not sure how that would work.
