Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Dru, not to get into too much back and forward, and accepting we have different opinions about individual players, I want to pick you up on just one aspect. Have a close look at my suggested inclusions; Swinton and Ramm, 2 Tahs; Hosea a Rebel; McReight a Red; and Valetini and Lolesio, 2...

Joe Burns v Will Puvcoski (spelling?). Even 10,000 run veterans finish their cricket careers sometime. Not a particularly relevant comparison. In my view, we are not about to improve if we persist with the team that has taken us from a regular top 2 or 3 ranking to 7 and maybe lower if we...

    Wallabies 2021

Ah, come on. Has nothing to do with comprehension but all to do with suggesting a player who hasn't yet debuted at Super level should be a special development option for the Wallabies. Seems a consistent thing with Reds fans lately. Others mentioned include Vunivalu and one or two prospects...

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Hopefully both will step up for next year. JOC (James O'Connor) is not our No 10 for 2021 and beyond. Remember too, that Will was behind a very decent pack in two games against the Pumas and was very to extremely disappointing. I'd say the margin between them is wider than a few on here admit.

Good for you KOB. Would you agree that Noah is ahead of Will in the pecking order right now?

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

It frustrates me that people continue to say Simmons was one of the best. He has always underperformed at test level and simply was woeful this weekend. I do not intend to single out players based on age. The use of "old" was in the context of "same old, same old ", meaning those who were...

Be my guest, knock yourself out, but both of those players were among the best and would be sorely missed unlike any of those I named (imo).

    Wallabies 2021

I especially like the way Gordon has carved up at Super level. A must for every future Wallaby team.

    Wallabies 2021

If that was all Hodge did wrong it would be harsh calling him out for it. Truth is that he was pretty woeful. Out of position, poor under the high ball, poor ball retention in contact, poor line kicking and poor decision making. Low light was catching a misdirected penalty kick by the Pumas...

Drive us further down the World rankings more likely. Better start 2021 with the next generation. They only have 3 seasons left to rise to World standard before RWC 23. But more than that, I want to see them winning test matches over the next couple of years too. Time for the new broom.

It's certainly no secret, but still a message many wish to ignore. The same old culprits from the last 5 years need to go. We are a losing side with the likes of Simmons, Hanigan, Hooper, JOC (James O'Connor), To'omua, Koroibete, Hodge and DHP. Let them seek out retirement plans overseas.

But Paisami is really out of position at 12. He would go better at 13.

For your info, Harrison was quite poor in both of his hitouts against the Pumas and was woeful kicking from the tee. He was a definite second best to Lolesio in SRAu and Noah started to show his wares in his second test off the bench. No way he would warrant a start over Lolesio.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Hear! Hear!. The commentary tonight on Fox was simply the worst.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Molman, Rob Simmons did very little in tonight's game. I presume he called the lineouts although some on here attribute any losses to others. His kick that made about 40m looked awfully like he just wanted to get away from the ball when he thought he had taken it in an offside position...

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

A disappointing match all round by the Wallabies. Broken down the individual disappointments were : Rennie, for his unwillingness to take a chance on some of the younger players, esp Lolesio and Tate; and for his very poor use of the bench. Simmons/Hanigan, as a couple because their only...

Looks a lot like a 23 to me at best.

Not at all. He has been built up as a No 8 when he isn't. Play him at 6 where he can range wider with his wingers, or nowhere.

Received some good ones too but seemed to always lose the ball in contact, grubber kick it to the opposition or throw it into s[pace to nobody. He had a shocker.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Where to start. Hooper lucky to get a YC and not a red. On the basis of shoulder to head it was a red all day. Hodge has been terrible at 15. Out of position from which the Argies nearly scored mid way through the half; poor line kicking from penalties, missed tackles, and worst of all the...
