    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

No, its' trickle down growth and interest. i.e. everyone will be so interested and engaged with the top, that they will spontaneously become involved in rugby at the bottom. And it's been a failure of cosmic proportions.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

THe demand will never be there domestically as long as Super Rugby continues to be a multi-continent, multi-time zone competition. Ever. There is zero propect of domestic growth within Australia using Super Rugby as the vehicle. Zero. In fact we're probably now into negative growth territory using the Super Rugby...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Other than the Kiwi derbies, I can't see how you could apply this to Super Rugby. Maybe a decade ago you could have but not now.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Although I was talking more about the competitions as a whole, rather than individual teams. The top 4 Kiwi teams are good, the top SA team about the same, but after that there's fairly dramatic drop in standard. I'd rate Aviva clearly the best competition, without question. Top 14, maybe...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

I'm not even sure that Super Rugby really is the best elite competition in the world anymore. The Aviva in England is certainly better and I also think that Top 14 is better.

NZ is also a much smaller economy than Australia.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

NZRU want to play SA teams, SA teams want to play NZ teams. Long standing policy position of both unions. Discussion on trans-Tasman option is pointless until that dynamic changes. And to be perfectly honest, I think that we would be better off in many ways in and Indo-Pacific competition...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Ideally, Super Rugby would continue with the NZ, SA and Argentinian teams and the 5 Aussie teams would play with teams from Japan, Pacific Islands and possible other franchises from Asia in the Twiggy backed competition.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Super Rugby lost me about a quarter of the way through this season and I doubt I'll be back. I was really looking forward to the NRC this year - especially with Norths, Warringah and Manly all in the semis and Warringah playing Norths in the grand finals. Great season coming up for the Rays...

Probably because you're stupid enough to post something like this so they've written you off as a moron.

Very glad to see that the 3 NSW based NRC clubs ran a womens 15 a side round robin. Well done to whoever organised it.

    NSW AAGPS 2018

1979 was a bit of a stellar year for Grammar: Premiers in 1sts and 2nds cricket Premiers in 1sts tennis Open Champions in Athletics Following on from HOTR victory in 1978.

    NSW AAGPS 2018

I did notice that when I looked that the AAGPS Athletics programme on Saturday that there was a time when Grammar won the senior division for over 20 consecutive years. SGS last won it in 1979, TSC last won it in 1975.;)

    Refereeing decisions

It's quite amazing how many AB tests Nigel Owen manages to referee. Some of the explanations he gives to opposition captains in relation to AB tries or opposition no tries or various other decisions are truly wonders to behold.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Perhaps that's right. At the very least they were far too trusting when they entered into any agreement with the ARU. Possibly if they had tested the who thing including the dispute resolution process in court, it all might have been thrown out. Just as the judge in Qld found that the two...
