If Aussie Rugby had fairdinkum state of origin, select your states 22

Ok NSW can have Vickerman. The rules are were which state your born or bred like Digby Ioane is born in Melbourne but played a lot of rugby in Qld & in a Pocock or Quade Cooper situation it's were you arrived so NSW can pick Rathbone if they want.

Would we class the ACT boys as New South Welshman or have a tri-series? Selecting from the super 14 squads at the end of 2008. My Qld team would be. 1.Holmes 2.Moore 3.??? 4.Horwill 5.Vickerman (Our poach) 6.MMM 7.Pocock (Ours again) 8.Elsom 9.Lucas 10.Quade Cooper 11.Drew Mitchell...

    Queensland Reds 2009

Then if you add in a few fringe wallabies they'd nearly be half the whole squad. I'll claim Vickerman & Pocock to that list as other Qld squad members as they both started here.

    Queensland Reds 2009

The Reds should really be our #1 team when you look at how many of the current Wallaby 22 are from Qld. 1.Benn Robinson 2.Stephen Moore (Q) 3.Al Baxter 4.James Horwill (Q) 5.Nathan Sharpe (Q) 6.Rocky Elsom (Q) 7.George Smith 8.Cliffy palu 9.Cordingley (Q) 10.Mat Giteau 11.Lote Tuqiri (Q)...

    Wallaby Conditioning

Yeah that is TPN. I can't believe that MMM has broken down again, farking hell I'm sick of reading that every month he'll be the next Heenan if he's not already. $100 say's that he doesn't end up playing on this tour due to his ankle strain being worse than 1st thought.

Rugby World Cup Rankings / Seedings

Yeah that's what I was thinking, surely seeding at the end of 2010 would make more sense.

    EOYT Rules?

Basically when the IRB talk global they actually mean France & England.

    Some comments by Richie McCaw

No I copied this off Rugby heaven today where he has been talking about improving his captaincy.

Rugby World Cup Rankings / Seedings

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Although a late penalty goal by James Horwill in a world cup final after 80 minutes to snatch victory would be nice.

I also hope the refs will be hard on that especially after Bledisloe 3 at suncorp, were most AB defenders often thought the ball was a cushion on thier lounge at home.

    EOYT Rules?

Yes they are playing under a different version called the global elvs. It is different to what we've been watching in the super 14 & tri-nations. I'm not sure of the changes but I know some rulings are going back to penalties rather than free kicks.

    Is Jacobs still a Tah?

John Eales Medal - the runners and riders

I personally voted for Mortlcok online but I think either Rocky or Smith will win.

    Brumbies 2009

No I'm with Noddy on the Stirlo comment, Horan/Mortlock centre pairing in my all time aussie 15 would be unstoppable. Oh to dream.

The Sharpe-est tool in the box?

MMM went the hammer a few times in 2007 against the Canes & Saders until injury struck he was really bossing the opposition around with his defence. That year Eddie Jones had the former Brumbies & leaguie Peter Ryan doing the defence or tackling sessions.

    Western Force 2009

Without a doubt the best aussie super 14 backline & maybe even the best backline in the super 14 a very good backrow & locking pair also. The Force should be a top 4 team anything less & they have under achieved. Is it a six team final format in 2009????

    Brumbies 2009

    Noddy, Totally agree but this is a Brumbies 15 I would like to see. 15.Gerrard 14.Rathbone 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 12.Mortlock 11.Mafi 10.Lealiifano 9.Holmes/Phibbs doesn't matter they're both ok 8.Salvi Prefer him to Hoiles 7.Smith 6.Chapman 5.Chiz 4.Kimlin 3.Shepherdson 2.Moore Should still be in Red...

    Tri-Nations wrap up

Well SH rugby needs to do something as we are slowly starting to lose young stars to the NH just like the NRL has. Sanzar needs to get the Argies on board & don't worry there are plenty of billionaires world wide that are keen to but sporting teams just look at the soccer & NH rugby. Sport...

The Sharpe-est tool in the box?

MMM will be the starting blindside flanker n Hong Kong & I can bet that he'll be one of our best forwards when the full time whistle blows. I don't see him as a test lock either but to bag him after the Jo'burg test is a bit rough considering that on PR he polled more votes than any other...

    Tri-Nations wrap up

That's another reason to let super 14 teams go private might even be a better Idea to place 25 players out of a 30 man squad under a salary cap & then have 5 players per squad able to earn whatever they'll pay them to stay.
