    Weekend Teams!

Other than the Aussies I'm very keen to see the SA v Wales & Frogs v Pumas. I like the SA team I think it's a very strong outfit & I like the idea of shifting Smith to prop to let Bismarck start at hooker. Steyn, Bekker & Kankowski on the bench is just scary & show's the depth in SA rugby ATM.

    Springbokke NH Autumn Tour

Re: Wales vs Springbokke That's a bloody good 22 on paper hopefully the Boks can perfrorm like they did in JoBurg as they'll smash the welsh. That's probably the best Springbok side on paper that I've ever seen even better than the RWC winning side. If they stay injury free for the whole...

    Honkers - a review

I reckon half the time they don't know what's happened & feel they have to make a decision & it's just easier to ping the aussies because of what happened in 2005. I feel the last two games against Nz that our 3 biggest problems have been playing the full 80 minutes, the bench & the ref...

    Wallaby Stats

I'm with Noddy I think Mitchell should be given more game time as he is definitely one player who has a good strike recored against all nations. He may not of got a try against England but when he came on he made more line breaks than any other wallaby over the whole 80 minutes & had the...

    Honkers - a review

If Giteau had found the correct ball runner with the set play off that scrum Hynes was in under the sticks. Your spot on there. The old "we're getting there" or "we've seen some big improvements tonight" is more than a bit old it's about 3 years old. Ever since Eddie Jones got sacked that's...

onwards and sidewards (???) - Italy

Re: onwards and upwards - Italy Cyclopath, I did write that team before I had heard that Giteau will most likely miss the game in Italy so I would definitely go with that backline now. I also would want to rest Mortlock for twickers, Would be happy to swap Waugh with Pocock. Tom, The...

    Player ratings from Honkers test

Pretty much spot on gagger I think we can only get better as the tour goes on, especially with players coming back from injury I expect to see MMM, Barnes & Palu come straight into the 1st 15 next week against Italy. It's weird as the tour goes on we are going to be getting players back...

Let me correct that for you Naza.

    Giteau may miss Italy

Well done Sharpie, another reason Deans may give you an early test retirement.

TYS Oz Player of the Year: v NZ (Hong Kong)

When Palu is fit I think Brown should start & Palu should play the last 30 off the bench I would love to see Cliffy running at tired opposition defences at the end of a game. I think Palu's ball running was really missed last night if he had come on fresh in the last 20 minutes he would of...

onwards and sidewards (???) - Italy

Re: onwards and upwards - Italy Well the italians are meant to have the best scrum in Europe so willl want our best tight 5 on the park. I'm with Noddy on Drew Mitchell moving to fullback but in the big games I think AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) has to be in the 1st 15 somewhere, Mitchell is more willing to have a...

TYS Oz Player of the Year: v NZ (Hong Kong)

3.Ben Robinson 2.Richard Brown 1.Luke Burgess Nobody played exceptionally poor last night except the ref but it was typical Wallabies last night, score two really good tries with good lead up work & then let the AB's stroll in with simple numbers play. I was going to give Giteau a point but...

Wallabies named for HK Bledisloe match

Smith, Waugh & Pocock to finish off, that could go both ways either we all Praise Robbie because we win & three fetchers give us the upper hand on the ground or we all blast Robbie because the all blacks kick to the corners & kill us in the lineout. I for some reason feel that Sharpe &...

Wallabies named for HK Bledisloe match

No talls on the bench is a worry but Deans must have some little gameplan in his head. Has anyone thought about what subs(barring injuries) you would make during the game & what 15 will see out the last 20 minutes.

Mainlander, I think he means behind Richie McCaw or possibly Jonny Wilkisnon I'm not sure.

    Springbokke NH Autumn Tour

Re: Wales vs Springbokke - Built up I thought Grant was the best flyhalf in SA during the Super 14, probably deserved more game time during the inbound tests & tri-nations.

Burgess to start in Hong Kong

Some conflicting stories on fox sports Gagger, they have on other story that MMM hasn't been ruled out & yesterday I saw him running with the team & taking lineouts. Hopefully he is good to go as he'd be perfect for the bench spot.

Burgess to start in Hong Kong

Not really surprising as I only expected Cordingley to play back up all tour. Would be surprised to see if Deans goes with a Cross/Mortlock combo again now that Barnes is back. I think playing Barnes from the start & then finishing the game with two ball running centres is a better option...
