    and so onto France

    I don't think we should make any changes to the forwards & I'd been keen to shuffle the backs around & then go a 5-2 split on the bench. I think the impact of Mumm & Palu was a major boost. 1.Robinson 2.Moore 3.baxter 4.Chisolm 5.Sharpe 6.MMM 7.Smith 8.Brown 9.Burgess 10.Cooper 11.AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)...

    and so onto France

I don't think we'll see to many changes from yesterday but if Deans makes one I would want to see AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) shifted from Fullback, prefer to see Mitchell but would be happy with James O'Conner Also.

    and so onto France

MMM was just cramping & Brown has a dislocated finger both should be available. Gotta agree with Cyclopath & Spook that AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) & Mitchell should swap, Burgess really let us down last night I think Cordingley should have a run along with Cooper. My biggest worry is consistency with the Aussies...

TYS player of the year: Oz v Eng

3.Baxter It takes real guts to comeback & bash a bloke who has bullied yourself & your mates. He gave Sheridan a real lesson in determination. 2.Benn Robinson Not only the scrum but his one on one defence was superb, really rung some English bells last night. 1.MMM Tough one as Sharpie...

    Bringing back Tours!

Noddy, I reckon Samoa, Fiji & Tonga should play in the super 14 & then pick the PI squad after that to compete in the Tri-nations.

    Pom Vs Wallabies

RE: Mumm-MMM I agree that Mumm is very unlucky to miss out but with Brown starting at 8 I think MMM is a better option. If Palu was starting then you would have to pick Mumm. Palu & MMM are better ball runners but I see Mumm & Brown more as the dirty workers. MMM will want to be our best ball...

    Queensland Reds 2009

Well I said earlier that of we wanted a top half of the table finish then we need Horwill, Barnes, Holmes & MMM to play the full season. Only about two months on from that post we've lost Horwill & Barnes already probably the best of the bunch. Oh dear.

    Gits taking it easy.

Arrogance usually comes with ability & being the best yet out boys continue to come 2nd every time they play one of the big boys away from home, it's a shame they still don't have text a wallaby as i'd happily tell them how shit they are.

    Australia Italy

Non display? Why because he didn't kick the ball away & did run the ball back with success all day. He was the only back apart from Barnes & Cooper that could walk off with thier heads held high. 1st 10 minutes Barnes is on we're creaming them the next 55 minutes the Italians look like causing...

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year: Italy

I'm no expert at scrumtime so I only really judge them on how well we control our own ball & how well we disrupt thier ball & it all seemed pretty even or a little in our favour last night. Ball in hand Alexander is brilliant he ate up the yards & he has a great offload. Yeah most of his...

    Australia Italy

Naza is spot on, I said to Noddy that our backs think they have to score off 1st phase everytime & they have no idea how to build pressure. I would have Gits in the team but not at flyhalf I'd play him at Inside centre & start Barnes at 10 if he is fit. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) isn't a fullback move him to 13 or...

    Pom Vs Wallabies

I reckon our forwards dished it up to the Italians last night & it has been our backs that have let us down on more occasions this year. I think Barnes should play at 10 & Gits should go back to 12.

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year: Italy

    3. Alexander 2.Moore 1.Ioane had to give a point to Digby as he was easily our best back, I'm with TOCC on Alexander I thought he was brilliant around the park & we won the scrum & lineout battle last night. All the forwards were good last night except Phil waugh he's a penalty magnet...

    Hoiles

Holies will be a great bech player for the Brumbies because of his ability to cover 6 & 8. Salvi is class at 8 much better at the back of the scrum than openside.

onwards and sidewards (???) - Italy

Re: onwards and upwards - Italy A little preview on the Italy v Australia game written by Danny Stephens who seems just a little anti-aussie.

    Honkers - a review

Larkham did have that ability to ghost between defenders but I think Giteau is definitely more elusive. I'm a big fan of Larkham & Gits I think they're both brilliant both with strengths & weakness. ATM I would rate Larkham a better flyhalf than Giteau but people tend to forget that Giteau...

    Honkers - a review

Don't get me wrong here but people tend to forget some of Bernies poorer games. He was maybe the worst wet weather flyhalf you could probably find his kicking game was worse than Giteau's. Larkham was a brilliant playmaker probably the best pass I've ever seen at any level in any code...

    Weekend Teams!

fatprop, I think it's a precaution in case things go pear shaped, Deans can quickly go back to his 1st choice half & centre pairing.

    Weekend Teams!

Sully, Agreed, the Italians are supposed to have one of the better scrums in Europe so i thought that we would go with our 1st choice front row at least. Foley definitely knows a lot more than us & he's seen the live scrummaging at training so they must be confident enough to play two rookie...

    Honkers - a review

I'd like to see AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13. Back to that set piece off the scrum, yes Burgess pass was actually a bit short & Giteau had to step in to collect it on the chest but the play still would have worked if Gits had hit Hynes.
