    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

To'omua for sure. Quade Cooper is not the player he once was. He's lost his mojo. Until he finds it again, the cons outweigh the pros. The bench is the best place for Cooper to find it from.

    Rebels 2014

That site isn't that reliable. In the Force section it names the 2014 squad as including Nick Cummins, Pat Dellit, Winston Stanley and Rory Walton. There have been no official press releases indicating that any of those players have re-signed.

Where's Wally in the Land of the Amazing Wankers?

    Waratahs 2014

Rough call if Burton is included in that. He mostly played off the bench and filled in where he was needed. Scored quite a few tries too.

    Wallaby Locks - The Future

No more biased than the fact that I am a Force fan. If you watched the right handful of games you could probably say any team's 6 is the best in Australia. I'd put good money against him making the Wallabies in 2014. You are getting Rory Walton confused with Rory Arnold. Also, when Arnold...

    Wallaby Locks - The Future

Cottrell probably doesn't get as much game time as Quirk as he was rotated with Brown and McCalman so maybe he isn't as widely noticed by non-Force fans. From the handful of games Reds games I have seen this year and almost all the Force games, I think Cottrell is the better player.

    Wallaby Locks - The Future

Paddy Ryan > Salesi Manu > Ruan Smith Cottrell > Quirk Hodgson, Robinson > Fainga'a (But for development reasons you'd go Fainga'a) Ben Lucas > Holmes

ARU moves to kill off club player payments: A 3rd tier, club rugby and the $60k persuader

I'd rather be dependent on Perth. I'd rather that the Force survive as a franchise. The fact is that South Africa's scraps are better than yours, and the scraps are less likely to piss off back home when they actually become half decent. We are getting off topic. The Force need entrance into a...

ARU moves to kill off club player payments: A 3rd tier, club rugby and the $60k persuader

No. I definitely don't. I think we'd be 30% non NSW or QLD. But that wasn't the point. The Force squad currently has 13% local players (more if EPS is included). That's double what it was last season and I think it will only rise from this point onwards. I'd like the percentage of local...

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

I wonder if Rob Horne is regretting his decision to stay.

ARU moves to kill off club player payments: A 3rd tier, club rugby and the $60k persuader

See I don't know if I agree with that. Having a quick look over the Brumbies squad, I'd have thought less than 50% could be considered products of Sydney club rugby. To be fair, the Force are pretty close to being less than 50% Sydney products. Maybe my argument is a pointless one. I honestly...

ARU moves to kill off club player payments: A 3rd tier, club rugby and the $60k persuader

I don't know about anyone else but I am sick to death of people saying don't fuck with the Shute Shield because Sydney produces the majority of Super Rugby players. That's a cyclical and invalid argument. Firstly, we (Everyone who isn't a Waratahs fan) don't want Sydney to produce the majority...

    Western Force 2014

Cummins said in a recent report that he wouldn't make a decision until after TRC in October. JOC (James O'Connor)'s due date on an announcement constantly changes. It went from after Bled II to after the South Africa test to end of next week (I think) and it probably going to drag on a bit.

Gurthro scratched his head quizzically as the referee penalised him for a cock-on.

You could have hoped for a 2 year deal :)

    Western Force 2014

Mick Snowden is gone. We have two scrumhalves in the senior squad and one in the EPS. Don't know about the three Aussies. I reckon Whittaker and McCaffrey would be worth a look but they do come with injury hassles.

    Rebels 2014

I'm pretty sure that article is wrong about him being a part of the U20s this year. I can see why the Brumbies would be keen- he sounds a bit like a Butch James style fly-half.

    Western Force 2014

Thing is that we will probably have a better team than last year and even then we were able to beat the Brumbies once, the Reds once and draw the Reds in the second. The thing that keeps killing us is losing to the bloody Rebels. We play better than them for 50-60 minutes and then fuck things up...

    Rebels 2014

Sign him for one. Then he can go to the Reds and have the distinction of being the first player (?) to have played for 5 different Super Rugby sides.

    Rebels 2014

No they aren't. The wankers have moved most of their dealings off to the Netherlands to get a reduced tax rate. That shit ain't cool.
