    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

The Force are at their most dangerous when the odds are stacked against them. I don't see us beating the Brumbies but with McMeniman and Cummins back we should at least put up a good fight. The players might still have something to prove from the Waratahs game.

    Waratahs 2014

Even if he did declare himself for the Wallabies, giving him an ARU top up would be an absolute fucking travesty.

Super Rugby 2013, the run home

Ohh yeah. Forgot that. Home crowd advantage?

Super Rugby 2013, the run home

You'll get an easy 5 points in Perth. Can still top the table if the Stormers beat the Bulls in Capetown, unless they get 2 bonus points, and if the Blues take down the Chiefs. Given how badly the Blues performed against the Cheetahs, they might have a bit of fire in their bellies this weekend.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Where is Freud when you need him?

    Waratahs 2014

Rob Horne would have to be the Wallabies second choice 13, wouldn't he? Then a big fat void. Seems a shame that he is likely to play at 12 next year. Between Lealiifano, Tapuai and the rapidly developing Godwin, I think we are well stocked for 12s in the coming years.

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Very surprised about none for Mowen. I reckon he'd be Australia's second best after Genia.

    Rebels 2014

What you mean JW might bring a worse game plan than "play what's in front of you"?

    Rebels 2014

He coached the Waratahs in 2007. He knows.

    Rebels 2014

You guys will want a long term option at 10 and that isn't Giteau and isn't an overseas marquee player. There are a couple of guys who could make great 10s if they could be convinced down. I reckon Ben Volovola could be a good option. Ben Lucas might be a good option if he could be encouraged...

    Rebels 2014

Don't think there are many off contract this year. But next year Tapuai would be ripe for the picking. He'd be a big step up from Sidey. Fainga'a brothers might consider following Colby too.

    Rebels 2014

I would be very interesting to see a potential McKenzie/Louden combination at the Rebels. Given the whispers of Reds players not being so keen on Richard Graham, it could see a number of Reds players head south. Could be the catalyst that takes the Rebels to the finals.

    Rebels 2014

Sure to the new CEO and coach, but I'd be curious about how the board and the team feel about it. O'Connor is a dick, but I would have him back. Either as a 15 or moving Godwin to 10 and having O'Connor at 12. Or better still, trialling him at 13. O'Connor would definitely be a better kicker...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

I only left Ireland out of it because you guys don't have the reputation for whinging. Probably should have said England instead of Britain.

    James Horwill cited for stamping

It's Britain. There will be complaint no matter what the outcome is. :)

    James Horwill cited for stamping

I reckon it depends on the IRB's motivation. I reckon they either decided that, on the balance of probability, Horwill was guilty and wanted a review OR were under a lot of pressure from the home unions to review the decision. If it is the latter, I reckon there is a good chance Horwill will...

The incumbent but out of form player over the in form debutant...

Some players play a lot better for the Wallabies than they do for their Super teams and vice-versa. Before this year, where Cheika has significantly improved the Waratah's back play, Adam Ashley-Cooper had a couple of dire seasons of S15 but was great for the Wallabies. Form is all well and...

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 3

I wouldn't select MMM or Smith. Neither are match fit enough in my opinion. Bench at the most.

    James Horwill cited for stamping

Ok. Cool. Like you are saying, if you break the laws of the game, it should be the potential damage done rather than the actual damage done that matters. I was just talking about when it is unclear whether you broke the law or not.

    James Horwill cited for stamping

No it isn't. It is against the rules to dangerously charge into a ruck. There is no accidentally at all in your situation. You charge in carelessly and you are guilty. If that includes stamping, then you are guilty of both. So does common sense tell you whether Horwill did it or not? Because...
