Samu? Pete Samu or Samu Kerevi?

    Wallabies 2021

A little bit of sarcasm injected there BH. But, notably, the Brumbies did score more tries.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Brumbies used to be pinged regularly for this Sully, but hardly at all in the past 2 or 3 seasons. I think they've taken the lesson on board and are operating legally mostly now. But in any case, that has no bearing at all on the illegal Reds scrum.

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

This should be an easy outing for the Reds, but I'm hoping the Tahs can surprise them and everyone else and put up the good fight. A couple of areas the Tahs will have to watch closely. The Reds scrum is operating very close to the wind, imo illegally, and this will need to be kept front of...

Super Rugby AU Rd 6 - Brumbies v Force

Pretty much my thoughts Purce. The front row, and scrums, are where the Force are likely to win the battle, but I do have a lot of time for Harry Lloyd. Slips on the other hand is coming back from a knee injury, not the best preparation for a THP. While FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner) is probably a better lock than No 6...

Fuck, Nomad. First you have Tupou angling in to shear the opposition LH from the Hooker, and then you claim it is the opposition LH losing his bind which causes TT to angle in. I will not change my mind that TT is scrumming illegally atm and with better refs he will be pinged until he changes.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Maybe RA was just following the lead of the high and mighty NZRU and letting others, in this case WARU (Force), come to them with a proposal, similar to NZRU just sitting back on their arses waiting for Fiji and Samoa/Tonga to make their approaches to join Super Rugby? Give us a break Dan.

    Reds 2021

Just trying to muddy the waters there Adam. Nobody is talking about either side collapsing or pulling back to milk a penalty. The issue is simply the Reds scrum as a unit takes a couple of steps to the left and then pushes straight. It is disingenuous of some to suggest the Force LHP is strong...

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Don't agree D. Has only had a small time on the field, but while he was there he has been outstanding at lineout time (a core skill) and very willing in both attack and defence.

    Reds 2021

Adam, if it looked illegal to me it must have been bloody obvious to most rugby followers. Ex-Reds personnel excepted of course.

    Reds 2021

Precisely how I saw the Reds scrum performing as well. The following is Post No 251 on the game thread - my comment in bold. PhilClinton said: ↑ Scrum dominance clear for the Reds, nearly had a tight head earlier as well. Just my take on it, but the Reds scrum in the lead up to Tate's try...

Super Rugby Rnd 6: Waratahs v Reds

Had a lot of time for Harris at 8 in the U20s. But, his development at Super level doesn't seem to match any of Wilson, McReight, Frost, Bell or Lolesio. Injuries no doubt have an impact, but to me he looks to be quite lazy on the field. Really doesn't seem to have much zing around the park...

Raising the bar again D? Don't put too much pressure on the poor sods.

According to the CT today, all of Sio, Slipper and Ross will be missing as will Ala'alatoa. Prop stocks are very scarce atm.

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

I know you repeat claims about Valetini's laziness, but I just don't see it. Otoh he certainly has improved his fitness and workrate this year, probably in response to Rennie's demands. Right now he is the type of player required to pit against the top packs in world rugby. His lineout work has...

I'd say the great majority of the Australian rugby community doesn't give a flying f**k.

Adam, "dime a dozen " generally means the article in question is available in good numbers. I'm not sure that is exactly what you meant?

    Brumbies 2021

Can't say I remember him, but 11 Super Rugby games with the Chiefs and a former Junior AB according to the Brumbies web site. 24 yo, 189 cm and 125kg. Looks like a good temporary signing.
