    Wallabies 2021

MT should have played himself out of Wallaby contention last week. He had a shocker then and followed up with another tonight. As I said last week, I have long been a fan, but he is no longer playing at test level with distinct deficiencies in his game management, passing (especially) and...

Super Rugby RD 8: Rebels v Force

There was plenty of running and passing by both sides lb, but very little drawing the defence and passing to players in space. I don't think it was a particularly good defensive game by either team, and surely was horror attack. Neither side got much above club level I'm afraid.

Sir Up the Guts. Has a good ring to it.

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Undefeated and Underdog just don't go together.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Rubbish BH, it's the myopic view of teams by fans of others that is the problem. As a Tahs fan, you should be well aware of that over the years.

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

I agree that the Reds are deservedly favourites - unbeaten and a recent win over the Brumbies. But I don't think, with the venue for the final still in the melting pot if the Brumbies sneak a win, that BT will play funny buggers with his team selections.

    Refereeing decisions

Quite a bit of pre-binding in last night's game, especially when on attack a few metres from the tryline. If it is now illegal, someone needs to inform the referees.

    Refereeing decisions

Surely it can't be obstruction if the player with the ball is "protected" by other players behind him?

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

    1. Eloff 2. Fainga'a 3. Tupou 4. Hosea 5. Neville 6. Leota 7. McReight 8. Wells 9. White 10. O'Connor 11. Muirhead 12. Paisami 13. Perese 14. Wright 15. Banks Eloff for standing strong against TT mostly in the scrum. 6 was a bit weaker this week, but Rob Leota was a standout in his time off...

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

Been saying it for years. At least now, Brumbies and Rebels fans appreciate his skills.

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

Leota I thought looked very good. Impressive involvements - could/should make the starting xv.

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

A much improved performance all round by the Tahs. Absolutely the worst performance by the Brumbies this year. Nonetheless, comfortably in the lead when Dan made a lot of changes and I'm confident they'd have won easily had Nic White stayed out there another 15 - 20 minutes. Clearly best on...

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Might see another hand being put up again tonight TSR. Harry Lloyd destroyed (a bit of hyperbole but lifted Greg Holmes skywards in the scrum in which he, Holmes suffered rib damage) Holmes last week against the Force. Immensely strong at scrum time. Will be a good battle between him and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)...

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Discussion on this thread is very slow. Understandable, I suppose given the circumstances. I would expect another bonus point win to the Brumbies but Tahs need to start showing signs of improvement. It has been an extremely hard year so far for the players and fans alike. I think the most...

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

Fucking Reds stealing some of our best players. Just when did they slip in and nab Slipper and Valetini?:(:D

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

Reckon I've seen him behind a Brumbies scrum with Christian Lealiifano and Stirling Mortlock outside him, and I seem to recall most posters and fans were quite adamant about his lack of ability. Or am I dreaming?

    Waratahs 2021

Over what period did the Tahs lose all those Players Barb, If over a relatively short timeframe, then wouldn't it be more likely that the failure to have sufficient next level of youth on the books lies pre-Gibson?

    Wallabies 2021

Rennie was the man who identified Paisami in the 12 spot. His form there is excellent. I will be surprised if he is moved back to 13 so early in the test season.

    Wallabies 2021

But FP, when has TB had a consistent opportunity at test level?

    Wallabies 2021

Hodge might be perfect for the bench with his versatility, Banks is a 15 or nothing. Quite an easy argument to say start with the specialist and finish with Mr Versatile. After all, he just might have to replace a 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14 during a game and not get any time at 15.
