    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Paisami has the Wallaby No 12 wrapped up. Don't think we'll see him at 13 any time soon. McReight is clearly our best No 7, and should take the Wallaby 7 jersey from MH. JOC (James O'Connor) again led the team around the park like a true champion. Maybe not a classical No 10, but a true champion in whatever...

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Stander definitely got the better of Wilson. Two weeks running now after Samu was better last week. I like Wilson but think he's a 6 rather than an 8.

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Have to say this but Tupou is playing very close to the wind with his charging into rucks and penchant for going (almost) high in the tackle. Thought he should have been pinged for his no arms entry to the ruck that turned the ball over in the lead up to Paisami's try. He was also second man...

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

I remember now why I didn't rate Sitaleki at the Brumbies/Wallabies. He is always static when he takes the ball. Strong defender and in other aspects, but with ball in hand is pretty ineffective.

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Just my take on it, but the Reds scrum in the lead up to Tate's try had stepped to the left before pushing round. The Force scrum actually held its form except for the LHP who had no-one to bind onto after Tupou went left wards. Should have been a Force penalty imo, but Tate deserved his try on...

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Congratulations Rebels. Established now as a top 3 team. All in all it was a pretty poor effort by Berry in the centre tonight. Two howlers in the first 3 minutes set the scene for the whole game. Very early on, Tahs were on attack and Swinton ran as a decoy right in front of the ball carrier...

One doesn't seem to have much talent or a hell of a lot of ticker.

    Waratahs 2021

Swain a bench option at the Brumbies? Seems you don't spend a lot of time watching the Brumbies, Matt.

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Certainly makes for an interesting competition, even if limited to only 5 teams.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

? Where do you rate Harrison. And Ramm and Naiwaqanitawase? Harrison is the next Wallaby No 10 according to many. To'omua is a 12 playing 10 according to many more. Ramm has been disappointing this year, so far, but has the ability to be the second best winger on the field. Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) on the...

Super Rugby Au Rnd 3 Waratahs vs Force 5th March, Sydney

Given the similar population bases, you'd think the Campbelltown/Camden area could be served by a similar competition to the JID comp in Canberra.

Super Rugby Au Rnd 3 Waratahs vs Force 5th March, Sydney

On the money D. Perhaps the earliest date for something to happen would be when the Tahs re-establish themselves at Moore Park. But work should be happening in the schools in the western region already. And I repeat, it might not be possible, but the Tahs and NSWRU should have nothing to do with...

Not sure the Reds should be contemplating a losing bonus point to the Force. Still...

    Round 5 : Reds v Force, Suncorp Stadium, 20 March 6.45

Putting eggs in the one basket Dru? What if the Brumbies beat the Reds next time around? One win each against the other - bonus points will be crucial in determining where the final is played.

Saw a report last week or earlier this, that JP had been seen in Brisvegas.

    Refereeing decisions

BH, my rule of thumb is that if the ball remains behind the passer (in the case where the passer isn't hindered, or tackled,) then it was legitimately passed backwards from the hand. In the case in question, Akira did not have his forward motion affected and the ball was caught by Reiko...

    Brumbies 2021

Brumbies props largely MIA at the moment. There was talk a couple of weeks ago that Ruan Smith had joined the Reds, but that's gone a bit quiet lately. If that's not the case, wonder if he'd be interested in an injury cover contract for the second half of the competition? Otherwise, how about...

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

R3, the difference in quality between the two games almost led me to consider Reds and Brumbies players only this week. I agree with KARL'S comments elsewhere that an ABs selection right now would contain mostly Crusaders and Blues players, while a Wallaby selection would be mostly Reds and...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

And in what fantasy world should the player who goes off to allow a replacement prop to come on not be able to return at the end of the 20 minute period? He isn't guilty of any offence. Not the best suggestion I've ever seen.
