RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

I don't think this is an issue at all. Hooper is faster at 'breaking away' off the scrum anyway. Pocock can cover the blindside if the attack goes that way. Line-out really the only issue I can see, and maybe a lack of dominate big-body ball-runners.

Petaia can be injected against Georgia and Uruguay. I think these two games are acceptable to develop a player with his potential. If all goes well - he could start in the QF, or come off the bench for impact - just hope that's against France/Argentina and not England.

RWC Pool B: All Blacks vs Springbokke, Sat 21st September, 18h45 , International Stadium Yokohama

Is he good in the air? I would have thought BB at 10 and 15 B.Smith would be the best option. BB 10 he is the most threatening, highlighted by winning World Player of the Year there twice. Mo'unga the more well-rounded option but BB is a seasoned Test player, it's a big risk swapping them...

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

Yeh, the only thing we really lose with playing both is height and a line-out option. Pocock to play tight as he does, and Hooper to play a big looser as he can. Will be interesting to see how our line-out goes but I don't see any concerns against Fiji in this department.

I actually think the scrum performed a lot better once TT came on in the last games against NZ. Which is even more head scratching.

TT was great against his two game vs AB's... even the one we lost. So really strange decision there. Also wondering what Faianga has done to get over-taken by Uelese. Dempsey > LLS would be preferable but no biggy. But other then that, think the team is pretty good, starting squad is the...

For AB's: Rettalick still injured? Not liking BB at 15, and the backrow - although individually all amazing players is awfully unbalanced. Both wings are still pretty fresh for test footy not sure how they will perform under RWC pressure. I'm backing Boks for this one.

I'd prefer 3 backs. Genia, To'omua/Foley (definitely need another 10 option in case CLL is struggling) - and an outside back cover would be nice - someone with pace to tear it up in the last 20min .... oh wait we don't have any.

Lock plus LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) or Dempsey. I think Coleman or Simmons add a lot of value coming from the bench. As we saw with Coleman's impact a few games ago, and Simmons can strengthen the line-out and maybe even win a few turn-overs there. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Dempsey would offer similar traits - just pick one...

Never said he will be poor. I'm a firm believer the best players we have in the wallabies are Hooper and Pocock. But Pocock is better and unfortunately plays in the same position. For me, Pocock is a big game player and thrives on the big stage against the best opposition where his skills...

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

If they play the Pooper and Pocock has a blinder, easily outplaying Hooper - which I predict would happen. Then what happens? Cheika won't drop Hooper - which means he'll likely stick with the Pooper for the big games. I'd rather Pocock/Hooper come from the bench. With the coach we have it's...

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

These days yes, but I recall his work-rate used to be a lot better, his first run in the wallabies he was at the top of the tackle count. But I agree, Simmons is under-rated these day, he's probably in career best form.

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

I recall going to a pub at 2am to watch a game for them to say "sorry it's against our licence to serve alcohol past 1am - but there's no rule against us giving it away for free!" so we all got free jugs of beer !! Actually I think that was the Brumbies semi-final in South Africa but I'd...

When both kickers have been consistently poor over the whole season, and rarely showed consistency in the past, then it's not really much of a gamble.

Agree that LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) had a strong game and if Dempsey hadn't played I would be happy to keep him at 6. However Dempsey did play and I think played better then LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), so he should get a start. Agree on the backline, although I'd love to see DHP start at fullback over Beale - with DHP the safer options...

JOC (James O'Connor)! He was always a decent kicker and handles pressure well. He's likely first choice 13 (To'omua won;t start), I hope he's been practising.

GAGR Wallaby Player of the Year v Samoa (Sydney)

    3. Dempsey 2. Koro 1. Pocock Thought To'omua & LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) was solid too.
