    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Exactly what won the game for Wales. Smart play by them, they really did take all of their opportunities to score points.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

If we can get into a rhythm early and not take us 40minutes to get into a game, then I think it will be a close game.

And you all blasted me last week when I said To'omua should be starting 10... how things can change ;)

He really is a one-trick pony that comes with so many weaknesses.... he can't pass and he has horrible ball security.

Great second half by Australia. The poor first half is what hurt us.

Besides the cross-field kick Foley terrible so far, poor passes and poor kicks. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) clearly being targeted on his wing and they are making ground easily by doing it. Genia has his step-pass back and it cost us a try. We are terrible at passing the ball, and securing our own ball at the...

RWC Week 2 - thread for matches without a match thread*

A very exciting pool now, all Samoa, Scotland, Ireland and Japan can make it through. You'd still back Ireland, and Japan will need to replicate what they did today against Samoa and Scotland but still very tough games

Wow Japan V Ireland... what a game. Japan looking good going through phases, great into contact, and full of energy and passion. Amazing game.

It seemed as tho you were suggesting he's as good as Carter. That's a positive then for his stats (bar Samoa). I feel more confident with Foley's goal-kicking then I do Lilo's - at least when it within his distance.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

No. You don't get a clear picture by comparing Carters whole career average to a small sample of Foley's. The stats don't compare difficulty or distance in kicks. The stats don't compare pressure kicks. Otherwise Matt Dunning would be the greatest drop-kicker in the world with 100% from 1...

So what is it for the international season? Laughable to compare Carters and Foley's goal-kicking abilities - but yeah 'whatever floats your boat'.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

His kicking % this year rates in out-of-form. Or maybe it rates him just a poor goal-kicker - whatever you prefer. Not sure how you could possibly try and argue he is in-form, or imply he's a good kicker. Maybe he's the best option we have but he ain't a great goal-kicker. Yeah of coarse...

There's no evidence that JOC (James O'Connor) has been goal-kicking the last 4 years, so it's very likely he isn't an option. All other options are on the bench. So we are putting all our eggs in one out-of-form basket in Foley.

Gee I don't know about Kuridrani on the wing, he's played maybe 2 games there in the last 5 years. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is much more experienced on the wing. Interesting point about White. Would have loved to see him there to help exit our 22 as well, given he has a big boot and Foley is terrible at it.

Does mean if Foley is having a shocking first 30mins he'll get pulled for To'omua?

Didn't they win the 6 nations. I'd say they are a very different team to when we last met them. In comparison our 'mental fortitude' has never been a strong suit especially when behind with 20 to go against the top sides.

I know I have been vocally critical of Lilo's past performances and advocated to drop him.... but now that I see Foley's name on the sheet I'm fueled with guilt... I am concerned. My brain is telling me Foley's goal-kicking is probably better then Lilo's (although Foley not in the best form he...
