    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

He was pretty fresh and a different player back when we had those 2 big losses to NZ too. Wouldn't read too much into that. He has always been a solid 10 option for the Brumbies, he was just a little one-dimensional and lacked a running threat. I think he's developed that game now so I'm...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

I believe he also passed the ball 0 times which is a worry for a 12. He had the same issue early on his career with his one-handed ball carrying and lose carries. He addressed this before but it has seemed to have crept back into his game. Confident he will address this..... but not too...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I'm going to disagree there on Hoopers ref communication. I still think it's his one downside, and he often still comes across arrogant and argumentative. I think Cheika's rubbed off him a bit and he's just too emotional to address them respectfully. Although I do agree he's getting better...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

That would be last RWC. The concerning thing for me too, is Cheika's post match interview. He seemed to down-play To'omua's impact stating he had better front foot ball from the forwards. I got the feeling Cheika was making excuses for Foley's poor performance. Foley's terrible passes, missed...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

I'd feel more comfortable with FF (Folau Fainga'a) throwing a line-out in the last 20mins then Uelese too. I just feel he's probably played a few more bigger matches and would handle the pressure better. Around the park FF (Folau Fainga'a) is solid, maybe you'd give Uelese the edge but again, I'd just feel FF (Folau Fainga'a) would be the...

Or the overall game plan, Wales replicated what England did to us but we keep trying the same game plan over and over again and unfortunately the result is the same over and over again.

Could do worth giving Dempsey a shot tho, he looked sold in his last outing.

Yeah and we haven't beaten them since then. Remember when they played us at home and beat us 3-0.

If we beat England, and then NZ, then SA in the Final.... now that would be an accomplishment despite the loss to Wales.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

I disagree. Maybe our attack would still be pretty ordinary with To'omua starting but the amount of errors forced from pressure would be reduced.... can't blame the rush defence for all of Foley's poor passes, poor kick, and missed tackles. To'omua would at least pass better and tackle better.

But if Fiji beat Wales we have a chance to top the pool, which means we can avoid England in the quarters.

I was already so sick of the TMO chiming in. So many god damn stoppages

You can credit the solid scrum and improved rolling maul to the Brumbies ;)

Agreed. Hooper has been top 3 performers each game. Ive been a strong Pocock advocate for years. But on current form, you'd have to go with Hooper over Poey is your dropping the Pooper. I'd rather Dempsey over LLS if thats the case though

Don't think Poey got a turnover - Actually I don't think either team had a turnover from a fetcher?

Not only did he have shit kicks, he had shit passes (4 I believe), dropped ball, a poor attempt at goal, no threat at all in attack - besides the cross field kick.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

This is typical NH rugby, stay in it, tick off point on the scoreboard, win territory by winning the kicking game, take drop goals on offer, really only take a risk unless they have advantage. And I agree Wales probably didn't deserve it. But a team that is even better at this style of rugby...
