Hooper is the Wallaby captain. He will not be dropped.

If Naisarani is back to full match fitness I would have him in the backrow ahead of Swinton no matter what. The best way for us to beat the Argies (and we have to beat them twice) is to run them around a lot, keep the ball out of contact as much as possible.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

One possible advantage we might have is that the Argies will have a bit of a letdown after beating the world's best team. And hopefully they celebrated to the fullest, and still are!

These are troubled times, we are all being shot in the foot, figuratively speaking. RA needs to show a bit of compassion in making decisions like this. What sort of family responsibilities does he have? Players from nations like Fiji are likely to have family members there for whom they provide...

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 14, 2020

Credit where credit is due. Argentina were bloody good. Chubby must get some of the credit.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Today's Hurled reporting that Marks had stepped down because he had been in a relationship with a member of staff.

So that's how to stop Caleb Clarke - you tackle him. I wonder why we did not think of that. Congrats Argies.

How do we know when he is happy?

Bledisloe #4 New Zealand vs Australia Nov 7 2020

If they get fined and rubbed out for a few weeks, that is a pretty good incentive. Plus the ignominy of being banished from a game: the more so if their side loses as a result.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

There is already a play-off between the two premiers. Very low key.

I have chosen to forget that game, for the sake of my sanity.

Frigging intercepts. Scotland. Nothing more need be said.

Including Dave Rennie, according to today's Hurled. He seems to think that replacing a red carded player after 20 minutes is better than destroying the game as a contest.

A couple of other points. Rennie comes across as a much more grounded individual than Chubby. Plus we do seem to be mining a rich vein of youngsters, not just the ones in the frame currently, but the level below them. If only we can hang onto the best of them for long enough.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

For us it is mostly about convenience, these days the cost difference is not all that great.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Movies, documentaries, BBC First (worth a lot on its own), CNN, Sky News UK, Bein sport. Mrs Wamberal and I watch together, on the big screen. Easy to use, one source for everything.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

We will be retaining Foxtel, there is enough value for us even without Australian rugby (although I have complained to them, and I am currently negotiating a more realistic price). Screw them.

How much experience at FB did Folau have?

    Wallabies 2020

I have never seen him play (other than maybe a snippet on the evening news) but if he has the skills, jumping high and catching, maybe he is a possible 15?

Let us all bear in mind that buying Vunivalu was not Rennie's decision. But given that he has been bought, Rennie will do his utmost to help him achieve his potential in our game.
