It might also be because today's props are bigger, stronger, and better conditioned than they were back then, just a few years after open professionalism began. Any change to the Laws regarding scrums would be carefully framed, and scrupulously monitored, no doubt.

In professional sport, the captain does not make decisions about whether or not to kick for goal, the coach does. It just beggars belief that the coach just sits there, in his box (with a pretty comprehensive selection of communication devices and channels) and lets the captain decide a hugely...

At this very early stage in their careers, Wilson would have to be the likeliest out of those three. Apart from any other qualifications, he is a born and bred New South Welshperson!!!
