Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

On the other hand, we could well have had no season. Small mercies. I am glad to have had some rugby to watch. Club, Soup, and even the fumbling, stumbling, Wobblies.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

White needs to shave his moustache off. It is hard to take a player seriously when he looks for all the world like Manuel ("Fawlty Towers").

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

The team selections have been too unsettled, no blame on Rennie, he has to try players out. So much for a new coach to come to grips with, he has to get to know RA, his subordinates, and the players. And he will be called upon to spend time with sponsors and all the stakeholders of the game...

Only watched the last few minutes, we have been dumb the whole time.

At least its not cold. And we should win.

Good post, Inaki. Rugby is a great sport because it embraces, and is embraced by, so many cultures.

    Wallabies 2020

It might also be because today's props are bigger, stronger, and better conditioned than they were back then, just a few years after open professionalism began. Any change to the Laws regarding scrums would be carefully framed, and scrupulously monitored, no doubt.

    Dan Palmer's grandfather, Harold.

Don't think so, unfortunately. That is the sad thing about forums like these, people sometimes just disappear without trace.

    Wallabies 2020

It is a bit early in all their careers, actually, to take on the national captaincy.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

In professional sport, the captain does not make decisions about whether or not to kick for goal, the coach does. It just beggars belief that the coach just sits there, in his box (with a pretty comprehensive selection of communication devices and channels) and lets the captain decide a hugely...

    Wallabies 2020

At this very early stage in their careers, Wilson would have to be the likeliest out of those three. Apart from any other qualifications, he is a born and bred New South Welshperson!!!

    Wallabies 2020

The captain has to be an unquestionable starter in the national side. How many of those are there? Counting.......

    Wallabies 2020

Gee, that's a lot to remember!:)

    Shute Shield 2021

Ed Craig (Eastwood's next Wallaby :)) has been signed by the Rebels.

    Wallabies 2020

Has me scratching my head, frankly.

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Considering that we had a make shift 10, and a 12 who has played a few games at 13 in the Soup, I would say our backline functioned very well indeed.

Smart? All he needs is someone to point him in the right direction, give him the pill, and stand back.
