    Where to for Super Rugby?

I just want to clear up my since deleted remark directed at you. It wasn't meant in a terse or aggressive manner. More a recognition of your jab with a less than eloquently formed version of 'get lost smart arse'.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

What they are in desperate need of is more strike power in the backs. If a raid were to occur that's where they should be looking.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'd be very selective with such a raid.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Which paper may I ask? As for players. Would be great to see those mentioned back in Aus and I quite like the idea of importing Argentine s as well.

If they are looking commercially or even competently then Marinos should be cut asap.

    Waratahs 2021

If they aren't paying his contract during the sabbatical that saves money.

    Waratahs 2021

If the reports of the four Super Rugby franchises replacing the Kings and Cheetahs in the Pro 14 to become Pro 16 are true then the Super 8 could at best be the Super 6.

    Waratahs 2021

I still think we should look at altering our season especially if we go with just 6 teams to lead into the Nov window while looking to allow players to dual contract with clubs in Japan. Or at least Wallabies squad members.

Once again. And perhaps you've missed it previously. There are tax benefits to investing in sports. That's why he's done so through his Minderoo foundation.

    2020 crowds and ratings

Would be interesting to see how those numbers look when combined with Kayo figures. If the reports from earlier in the season regarding the ratio in relation to other sports being 2:1 then the average looks a fair bit healthier.

And if anyone wants to argue this then look at literally every other squad in Aus outside of NSW and Qld. At present without either the rest would struggle to put together one competitive side let alone two.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

They won't be the only Aus team. Whether NZR like to admit it or not markets matter and whether Force fans like it or not they aren't the most important market in Australia across a number of metrics. Particularly that of Rugby.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It would require WR (World Rugby) to come to the party much as it has with the Drua in the NRC plus other sources. An alternative would be setting up a direct line from the Islands to an Australian based team. Not necessarily a PI team based in Australia but a 6th tea set up for Super Rugby Au. I'm also still open...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Here's a crazy thought. Why not go with the 8 teams plus Fiji and our 5 to start for a 14 team competition? Could happen as soon as next season. With plans put in place for 2 more Australian based squads to be added in the following seasons to create a 16 team competition playing a 1.5 round...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The BoP bid would likely be of similar standard to that of the Force and Drua. And if NZR goes with WB's post then they'll be very much at the level of those teams.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

A 12 team TT competition with 6 NZ, 5 Aus and Fiji would suit me just fine. Preferably home and away for 22 rounds but could accept a 16 round competition with the 6 NZ teams playing one another H/A and then each of the 6 Aus/Fiji teams and vice versa for the latter.

    Fixed that for you.

Yeah. I actually like that idea. In fact, perhaps it could be used as a means for them to become eligible for the Wallabies. If they don't qualify under the Giteau Law.

    Australian Rugby / RA

I think if there's going to be SA, NT and TAS involvement that should be the model they adopt as well. REp squads should be more competitive than individual clubs. And they can select and start training early on in the season in preparation. Increase their chances of knocking off a club side...
